Worldwide, more Hepatitis C patients have been treated with generic medication than the overpriced branded medication.

Over 90% of patients who have treatment will achieve SVR12 and the data has been presented at the International Liver Congress.

YOU CAN SAFELY ACCESS GENERIC MEDICATION VIA THE REDEMPTION TRIALS

TOPIC: HCC and DAAs - Treat the HCC first for better SVR rates

HCC and DAAs - Treat the HCC first for better SVR rates 1 week 6 days ago #23944

This recent journal article observes that patient with HCC are 6 times more likely to fail HCV treatment than patients without liver cancer

On the good news side, it also observes that HCV treatment after curative therapies for HCC resulted in excellent SVR.

www.journal-of-hepatology.eu/article/S01...(17)30053-3/fulltext

I would speculate that the accelerated uncontrolled cellular division present in HCC and the fact that cancer cells ignore the body's apoptosis (literally f*** off and die) signals is why treatment is more effective if you kill of these cells first.
YMMV

Good analogy too for some big companies as well - thinking of my mobile phone service provider and no one else thanks.

Heading would have been less confronting if the word 'active' was in it!
