Male, Fibro F1. Geno 1b. ALT 67 before treatment Viral load 5 million. My huge viral load replicates in my nervous system as I suffer anxiety.
Started Twinvir 12/12/15.
Two weeks
ALT 17 at 2 weeks
Viral Load UND at 2 weeks
ALT 13.5 at 7 weeks EOT
ALT 10.5 at 15 weeks EOT
ALT 13 at 27 weeks EOT, VL UND, Cured

Yes. First day today.:-). The tablets are huge , but swallowed it without problems :-).

I feel a bit sleepy now, but mostly this is due to lack of sleep and chest pain last night.
Gen 1b, F1-F2. Naive.
Started Twinvir tx on 2 nd of December 2015 for 12 weeks.
Starting VL 400000, Alt 49/AST 44
1 week VL 29, ALT 44/AST 30.
4 weeks VL 12, ALT 33, Platelets 145, all other tests normal.
7 weeks VL Detected, ALT 28, all other normal
8 weeks UND, 12 week UND, 24 week SVR UND

Geno 3, Fibro 8.7 pKA, tx experinced in 2005 - Peg/Riba, relapsed.
Started tx 1/12/2015 with Indian Sofo & Chinese Dac.
5 weeks result all normal, ALT 18 - down from ALT 73 at the start of tx.
5 weeks HCV PCR RNA - UND. - down from 2 ML
9 weeks HCV PCR RNA - UND.

Day 4 today. My sleep is ok, but I get pumping sensations in the evening, possibly Sof reaction.
Still feel a bit dizzy at times.
Started to get interesting taste in the mouth.
My skin is really bad at the moment. Itchy and burning, not sure what to do.

Whatever is going on Dan will pass, I know that can sound a bit trite but it does. Your massacaring billions of viral cells, a war is going on and you body is the battlefield. JUst behave normally and unless something seems extreme don't worry too much about it but by all means do tell us please. Most people seem to have something going on during treatment.

Hi Dan,

I found sorbolene moisturiser (plain, unscented) very effective when I was on Peg/Riba and had bad itching and skin irritation but not certain about using if you have eczema?

Not sure what you mean by "pumping sensations"? Do you take the meds in evening?

I take them first thing in the morning.30 minutes before my breakfast.

By pumping sensations, I mean the pulsating feeling in the body.

I went shopping today for an hour. After that I feel so tired.

I have that pumping sensation as a earthquake body sensation, as if my body is imitating the heartbeat. I have concluded that it is a mis-coordination of vagus nerve which connect all the organs. Due to the damage of HCV on vagus nerve in liver and other parts, the signals get mixed. The signal of heartbeat may go to the musculature of intestine.

Hi Dan,

I was wondering if the effect you describe was occurring just after you took the meds so a reaction to them but it seems not. I'm thinking maybe the pumping/pulsating feeling is what I and a few others describe as a "speedy" feeling? If so mine seems to have reduced a little in the third week.

Not sure there is a best time to take the meds. I started taking mine before breakfast like Dan in case they effected my sleep but knowing that if they made it difficult to do work etc during the day then I could move the time say an hour a day until I was taking them in the evening. But the morning seems fine and hasn't caused noticeable problems so I just keep taking before breakfast. ( I also take two doses of ribavarin each day after breakfast and evening meal as you need a full stomach for those.)
