Hey Split...

So very sorry to read, it must be a shock. I hope you're doing ok?

Thank God for Dr F hey - You have some more opitions.

I am now at week 25, making sure I give it my all and know what a long tx is like. Nothing too bad, just ...... long! I'll be around to support if you need a listening ear.

Keep the faith, you'll get there.

In the meantime, chin up my friend.

Hey Splitdog, sorry to hear your news, but yes Mesochem has Velpatasvir and several other options as well.

I suspect what Dr. James is saying is that he can't technically prescribe it until Australia follows the US lead and approves its use. But it is physically available now. A member here has talked with me in PMs about it and decided to order 12 weeks of it. It cost US$1060.00 for 9 grams delivered ... 12 weeks treatment. And it arrived 15 days ago.

You're gonna win this battle, just keep going.

Velpatasvir is not suitable for compounding at home.

I just discovered your other thread. So now I guess I'm wondering ... is this a process that can be done by any compounding chemist, i.e., Kingswood?

What do you think, doc?

Hi Splitdog,

I am off to have my blood taken for my hoped for SVR12 tomorrow. I did 24 weeks and at this time I do not think the virus is around. But I will know for sure after the test comes back. I purposely did not have tests after EOT, just one in Nov 2015 and one in Jan 2016 while on treatment.

Best wishes and let us know the next strategy - it may be helpful for me to know what to do if my test comes back no good. And your calm demeanour is reassuring for me as well.

Yours

Jeff
