Hi Debs,

I'm sorry you're having BP troubles.
I hope it settles soon.
Can you get checks in chemist shops?
Often here in Australia, they have the machines in chemist shops, & the chemist will do it for you if you ask.

I'm lucky that my young J doesn't seem to get any sides at all, I guess being so young makes a big difference!

The walks sound good, fresh sea air, good for you :)

My BP has been jumping around quite a bit sice i started tx. But only the systolic reading. Jumping between 100 and 140 almost from minute to minute. The diastolic is steady between 75 and 80. Weird, but I don't know if i should take meds or not. Would you guys take BP meds if your pressure was jumping between 100/75 to 140/80 a lot of the time?

Hi KenBM

Would you guys take BP meds if your pressure was jumping between 100/75 to 140/80 a lot of the time?

When mine was 145 at one point, my nurse told me that was 'nothing much to worry about" - I would suggest you ask Dr Freeman or contact MonkMed Drs and get some professional advise.

Hi Cindi,

Thankyou for your post, and I am really glad your son is not experiencing any sides! As you say being in the bloom of youth may have something to do with it. :)
I've got my hospital appt. on Thursday so will talk to them about it then.
Hi Kenbansman, I wouldn't do anything yourself re bp meds, best to get docs advise - doesn't sound that bad to me, but I'm not a doctor. All the best to you
