I agree with your sentiment. I have a journal on this website about my progress with generic treatment. I have advocated for this site, and pushed generic access on various threads.
I would caution against putting a number, on the number of people who have been helped...it only taunts Gilead to act against the movement going on here. My take on the situation is that Gilead will look the other way if people are strong minded enough to seek out treatment. But to advertise it mainstream in the US media or in other countries will bring about a draconian response from Gilead.
Once TPP is passed, Gilead will be able to sue the US government for not enforcing their patent. US government could be liable for millions in damages. That is why I am so adamant in telling people in USA that if you want generics, do it before TPP agreement is passed. After TPP, I believe it may be very difficult to get generics. You may be forced to travel to Bangladesh, India or Australia. That will add several thousand dollars to the cost, at a minimum.
