My curiosity is getting the better of me and a few sceptics need to be shown faith...do we know the numbers of people in Australia who have reached SVR through this website??? also if there are relapse figures???

i don't know how many, but why limit the count to Austrailia? there's a bunch of us from all over who have been cured.

The last time I spoke with Dr Freeman, I had some questions and he has a plethora of data and information regarding his foray into Hep C treatment. All kinds of statistics like you mentioned above. Perhaps at the right time he will start a thread about it. He could update it every 1 or 3 months. It will be super-interesting and revealing.

My son, J, will be having his 4 weeks post tx bloods tomorrow, so will let you know how it goes, but he did have to have a LFT recently for his skin specialist and it was all normal, so hoping to get back UNDETECTED !!

You're right sorry absolutely, Aus has just listed the drugs on pbs so many people will be going down the 'right' hand road to get cured so I'm sure the figures are being compiled here and collectively world wide. It' is just the most fantastic thing. You're looking good and congratulations on that..

I agree with your sentiment. I have a journal on this website about my progress with generic treatment. I have advocated for this site, and pushed generic access on various threads.

I would caution against putting a number, on the number of people who have been helped...it only taunts Gilead to act against the movement going on here. My take on the situation is that Gilead will look the other way if people are strong minded enough to seek out treatment. But to advertise it mainstream in the US media or in other countries will bring about a draconian response from Gilead.

Once TPP is passed, Gilead will be able to sue the US government for not enforcing their patent. US government could be liable for millions in damages. That is why I am so adamant in telling people in USA that if you want generics, do it before TPP agreement is passed. After TPP, I believe it may be very difficult to get generics. You may be forced to travel to Bangladesh, India or Australia. That will add several thousand dollars to the cost, at a minimum.

Yes, get your son treated, mine had no side affects at all, he was fine, I think the younger people don't seem to get affected by sides as much as some older one's do.

Mine also had the virus since birth.
