Hi Enkel

I'm not an expert but I'd then have a crack at Sof/dac/simp as a triple. Not sure about the resistance thing with DAAs I've heard that it is less of a concern than with previous treatments and PIs. Em
Geno 1b F2/3 snce early 80s. Treated in 2008_9 for 63 weeks on INF/Riba. Commence Sof/Dac on 6 October 2015 and completed 18 weeks of tx. UND at 4-6 weeks, UND at EOT, SVR 2, SVR 6 and SVR 12 on 6 May 2016.

I don't think the Sim is available as a generic EM I been asking same thing on FB. Just go harder :)

It is definitely available, I'm just not aware of anybody yet determining which is the best place to try to get it, any price info, or independently testing the product.

But if it becomes a vital need someone will get those answers, count on it.

Yes, but probably go 24 weeks or add Simeprevir or Riba

24 weeks sof/dac or 12 weeks sof/dac/sim?
Male, Fibro F1. Geno 1b. ALT 67 before treatment Viral load 5 million. My huge viral load replicates in my nervous system as I suffer anxiety.
Started Twinvir 12/12/15.
Two weeks
ALT 17 at 2 weeks
Viral Load UND at 2 weeks
ALT 13.5 at 7 weeks EOT
ALT 10.5 at 15 weeks EOT
ALT 13 at 27 weeks EOT, VL UND, Cured

I am pretty sure Dr James means 24 weeks Sof and Dac or add Sim for 12 with Sof Dac.

Out of curiosity why would anyone be thinking they might need to repeat treatment?

Its the second thread I've read about thinking they may fail I think its really negative to be thinking
about failure before you've started.

These treatments have a 98% plus success rate!

Yes, this a "stupid" question by me :).

I have done the genotype test only one time and was 1b. How reliable are these geno test 100% accurate?

I wasn't suggesting its a stupid question I think its perfectly normal to have some concerns.

I guess, I would take comfort in everyone's results thus far, I have yet to see anyone
with a negative outcome.

I am confident you'll get the same positive results we've all enjoyed to date.
