Thanks Doc , Its a miracle alright. I prepared for the worst but expected the best and its only getting better. I was expecting to have to take time off work for this, but that seems unlikely now. Its only day eleven and digestion has normalized a lot. I feel I'm getting more out of food and I look forward to the day i get some weight back on . My number two's have had a colour change back to normal..Only us hepper leppers will appreciate that There's still a bit of brain fog but early days. Energy levels climbing and a marked feeling of peace and lifted spirits. Very Happy To anyone still on the fence about treatment,Just Do It is all I can say! Still going well on tx. Had to do a medical for work and pleased to say nothing came up in the urine drug test as expected. I kept what I'm doing and taking to myself due to the level of intolerance mentioned earlier. Nice to know if anyone else is in the same situation. All good here! Hi vedruss. Well I'm happy to hear your medical went well. Unfortunately we are all too aware of the intolerance that still exists. Welcome to the forum Tigerfan, and congratulations on starting your treatment. Epclusa is a breakthrough drug, way better than Interferon in terms of efficacy and side effects, you should be very optimistic. The forum here is full of great people who are very supportive. | |

Hi Tigerfan (I"m sure your behaviour wasn't any worse than the rest of us!! It's great to hear that you have started your treatment. You've gone through the very worst with interferon so I know that you will have a much better time with Epclusa. Drink lots of water, try to sleep well and be really good to yourself. I'm one of the many successes on this forum. Great to have you with us. Coral G1a probably early 1980's, Biopsy F1(2010), F2-F3(2015). VL 5+mill; 2+mill (2014) Tx naive. Hi All, I havent posted much lately as Ive been working 11.5 hrs for the last 10 days and theres not the time. I am finding though, its not the daunting huge struggle as it used to be. I feel good. A bit tired but not the dead tired, nothing left, as it used to get. Its amazing at how the mind/body puts sickness out of your consciousness when it has passed. I should have written all the things that used to hold me down on a scale of 1-10. Then I could gauge exactly how things are now and pass it on. I do remember fighting to stay awake during breaks etc. Having to Stop for a while when nodding off driving home,Scary stuff. The thirstiness is still there and the brain fog comes and goes but that is about all. I am sleeping well and get up easily. I was told GT 2 is an easier type to treat and it has been, luckily for me. I wish to say thank you to all you good people for the support and friendship shown. Hey there Vedruss, Well that sure is music to my mermaid ears, what fantastic labs you have now. How good is it to be HCV free and have such a healthy set of LFT''s eh? You still have the rest of TX to go and of course it has some sx different for everyone I believe, but they are very easy considering the big picture in my humble opinion (having been through a fair few meds over my little run in with the virus). I am just so happy for you that is great news. I recall the tiredness not only lifted but the last four or so weeks were full steam engines on. Others have said the same type of thing in their blogs on tx. Whatever your next few weeks hold it is all pretty cool anyway, it is just take the meds and chug along enjoying every new part of being HCV free. here's to catching you next post! Coming up to the 8 week mark and still waiting on the test results that were sent away. Had a fibroscan today, KPA 10.3 I read the posts on it as soon as I got in and they certainly put things in perspective and put the mind at ease. What a great source of info here. I'm still feeling good although a bit run down due to work. Have a few extra lumps and spots , and still have had odd runs of brain fog. But happy to say that's all there is.
