The EASL excitement is building..... There will be so much useful info coming out of this conference. But I love that Dr Freeman is presenting results that includes everyone, F0-4, all genotypes- this is really what we, and medical profession, need to know now. Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

I started uploading bloods on my GP2U records for Dr James sometime ago - intending to later add later SVR results - if I am fortunate enough for them to eventuate. However I realised that the results being sought and confirmed by Dr James are for purposes of establishing a multi variate profile of final outcomes with the "generics". Throughout my treatment, and perhaps others, I have used inconsistent regimes of generics from India and Mesochem, but also Daclatasvir provided compassionate grounds and Sofosbuvir from Gilead. It would be impossible I imagine to extrapolate differences or correlations attributable to any particular medication along with other variables (ie genotype, prior tx, cirrhosis etc) - so I realised my data will not add value so I have ceased recording. However, It seems that the numbers of members coming through fully generic treatments is steadily increasing and the data will be interesting for everyone - in its ramifications, both medically but also politically Fem. Gen 1a.18.4 kPa. IL28b - CT. Cirrhosis 4B/c. MELD 11. Portal Hypertension. Ascites. Varices. I hope the Generic Rebels presentation goes well!! I know it will, how could it go wrong with the likes of our favorite Doctor and all the Rebels in Redemption!? Maybe the next stop will be at the Liver Meeting in the US in November. Wouldn't that be something, Gilead would poo poo their pants. www.aasld.org/events-professional-develo...r-meeting%C2%AE-2016 G1a dx'd in 1992, Biopsy F2 VL 8mill +. hm, my data is in there somewhere, last bloods good at svr4 now 8, went through all this years ago with my brother on peg/riba, used to pick him up from the clinic with his doses in a cold pack so they wouldnt spoil, allergic to interferon I couldnt take the same route, now 8 weeks eot I have some of my brain back(I was very ill with hcv mental symptoms) I am back doing IT stuff after a 6 year break working in a factory, just got a new job back in IT, working on panels again, updating systems etc, extra 10k plus car phone etc, long road,, but worth the hike, cant wait to see docs presentation, Im a difficult patient, but he persisted, such a big change from how I used to feel,, I smile again, laugh at silly stuff, and no more "Mr Cranky Pants" So good to become part of the solution after being the problem for so long, hugs all TLDR
