Dear LG aka LG2 Yes what a very difficult time it is. Thank you for your beautiful words. You’re right GAJ gave us so much and it was all unconditional and yes he was never well himself. It’s been weeks but I’m still stopping myself reaching for the phone for our catch ups and coffee and lunch or a walk on the jetty. Remember the silly liver outfit from your special scan? One fun day after GAJ knew about the cancer we actually went op shopping and dressed up in silly outfits. It’s impossible to even imagine how he managed to be so amazing until his last days. I was at his side in palliative and he was even trying for others in there it is emotionally overwhelming that any person could be so brave, so humble, so generous and so very loving to his friends and fellow humans and especially those who have experienced HCV. Well there are no other words because I am still grieving personal loss of a dear friend who had bad luck at every turn. For some it just came too late as Sam Sejavka said and Pat1 kindly quoted here. A most dignified and kind man now resting and free from the pain. We love him a lot and we miss him. Again thank you LG for sharing and I will pass your words on to his sister xxx Ariel Gen 1a Peg/inf/riba 2012(!) stop @ Wk 43 potassium low +issues (rlps week 4 post tx, VL120,000) scnds eg. adenomas. pre sof/led VL 240,000 Fibsc F0 Day 25 <30 Day 32 UND Week 10 UND EOT UND ALT11AST17GGT19 SVR4 UND ALT10 AST16 GGT13 SVR8 UND ALT <9 AST16 GGT15 SVR12 UND ALT14 AST19 GGT12 Bili 5 EOT +18 ALT13 AST20 GGT9 Bili 5 EOT +21 ALT11AST15 Cured SVR12 Dysplasia Adenomas RemvdAug '16 SVR24 UND ALT11AST16 ColonoscopyClear Nov17 LumpectomyClear ‘18 LithotripsyCytoscopyBiopsy 4/18 The following user(s) said Thank You: DrJames, coral, Vororo, Greedfighter, rohcvfighter, Sven, Mnem, hanknassi, Mar

I’m going to the Palais tonight. How bittersweet it is. That’s the first place this beautiful buddy and I ever were together and I keep hearing the Brian Wilson song in my head. The song I found out at his funeral that he thought to be the most beautiful song ever written. I’m sad that he had bad luck at every turn. God only knows my friend God only knows. For those who are new here or had only a short time with GAJ he was our fabulous moderator guide counsel and my friend in real life. Here on FHC he was dedicated to each and every person and selfless to the last I really miss you Guy. I hope others too will join me in a Friday reminiscing and fondly remember our beloved wise dear man Forever my friend forever Missed and loved Ariel Gen 1a Peg/inf/riba 2012(!) stop @ Wk 43 potassium low +issues (rlps week 4 post tx, VL120,000) scnds eg. adenomas. pre sof/led VL 240,000 Fibsc F0 Day 25 <30 Day 32 UND Week 10 UND EOT UND ALT11AST17GGT19 SVR4 UND ALT10 AST16 GGT13 SVR8 UND ALT <9 AST16 GGT15 SVR12 UND ALT14 AST19 GGT12 Bili 5 EOT +18 ALT13 AST20 GGT9 Bili 5 EOT +21 ALT11AST15 Cured SVR12 Dysplasia Adenomas RemvdAug '16 SVR24 UND ALT11AST16 ColonoscopyClear Nov17 LumpectomyClear ‘18 LithotripsyCytoscopyBiopsy 4/18 The following user(s) said Thank You: coral, Vororo, pat1, Greedfighter, rohcvfighter, Mnem, hanknassi, Mar

Lovely thoughts and words Ariel. I hope you had a great Friday night - you took Gaj along with you in your heart. It continues to make my heart hurt a little when I see Gaj at the bottom of old posts and don't see it on new ones. Goodness that man had an impact. Hugs to you Ariel. I agree Serg. Gaj was all of those things and more. He was a great support to many of us. I miss him too. G1a probably early 1980's, Biopsy F1(2010), F2-F3(2015). VL 5+mill; 2+mill (2014) Tx naive.
