Greetings from the UK.
I have decided to relocate my diary from the Hepc UK forum to this generics friendly forum as I'm starting my Mesochem's Dac/Hepcinat treatment tomorrow morning.
I'm 41year old GT 3a F0-F1 (5.3KPA). Have been diagnosed exactly 1 year ago and since then have been doing alot of reading and research on internet. I now feel very confident to go ahead and slay the dragon.
I've managed to find a hepatology consultant who has agreed to monitor my treatment. That has been the hardest part so far as UK health system is heavily apposed to drugs sourced outside the Big Pharma deals.
I'm very excited and happy that the waiting game is over now and I'm finally kicking into action!
I'm also in the UK. Same genotype. 4-and-a-bit weeks into the same combination therapy, except my generic Sov is Hetero's Sofovir. It'll be great to compare and contrast our experiences travelling down the same road. All the best Nadia.

I will have my blood tested in 2 weeks. I know some people do 24 hours test on Dac without Sof just to make sure it works. And it does work, believe me, 2 logs drop on 60mg of Dac! Fantastic results
I was reading the UK forum when Nadia announced what she was doing. A few of the other members reacted as if she'd said she was off to see a witch doctor for a bit of voodoo therapy.

Well, considering that most of the treatments available here in the UK are somewhat akin to cavemen clubbing the virus out of you (interferon/riba), they can talk
Welcome to our lil forum and look forward to hearing all about your journey from this point. I'm sure you will do okay with these drugs and slay the dragon. It's great that your liver is still in good shape so I'm expecting an easy SVR for you, fingers crossed anyway. Em

I can't believe how much they still seem to be prescribing it! And combining it with the new drugs.
Sof with interferon and riba?
Ugh! It's like wearing dirty underwear under an Armani suit.
