In tx with diabetes and thinking about the lancets 8 years 3 months ago #7259

Hi there,
It occurs to me 3 weeks into my treatment with Lesovir-C that I should probably be changing the lancets I use to measure my blood sugar every time I check my sugars. Does anybody know more about this? Can I be re-infecting myself daily if I don't change the lancets every time? Can't seem to think this one through and it's hard to find out anything about it online.
Hope somebody who knows can chime in on this. Thanks,
Ken Basman

Hi Ken, here is a thread discussing reinfection via toothbrushes & razors, it might help:

Thanks Joy. That was enlightening. Time to go shopping and buy all new of everything. I hope I didn't figure this one out too late!
