| Had to mention this in the name of science...two weeks after I started Harvoni, I got quite a heavy period, which is very unusual...they have been light/intermittent/occasional for years now and I had assumed Menopause was kicking in. But NO. It was the hepopause! Second period now confirms it. Quite astonishing really, and added to much improved and deep sleep, it makes me very happy to be on these meds, even if the sides are a little icky now at about 7 weeks. Even they seem to come and go before you really get sick of them. F49HepC25ysGT1a "mild" Harvoni 12 wks Brisbane, Australia The following user(s) said Thank You: Tina-Hill-facebook |

Only just stumbled on this thread. I am also well past the womanly cycles so would be a bit pissed off if they showed up again. I'm 60 so don't expect it to happen. Awesome news about the spider things. Fingers crossed. I read somewhere a long time ago that women with liver issues such as HCV tended to have more boy babies than girl babies. Sorry, I can't remember the reasoning behind this but was wondering if this is reflected in our community. I have 2 sons, both were surprises i.e. not planned. The first was born VERY late and the second was induced so as to avoid that (I'd say the first one was born late because he was too lazy to get moving and that has not changed lol) Genotype 1a Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!! We have so many ladies either approaching EOT or post EOT or even post SVR congratulations to all I thought a little summary of gorgeous stuff I have noted girls talking about which help during this stage of the story: A little trip to "get out of the house" Say a weekend away camping or a plane trip even, in Australia tickets are at around $29 or $49 bucks to cool places. Pat1 and I have coincidentally both taken a mini break after EOT and both had a lovely time. I saw VIVID and Pat1 visited beautiful galleries with her old chum Beaches is off for a mini break to warmer waters yummmmm I'm certain other ladies have also changed scenery after EOT towards SVR it really takes your mind off everything. Also a nice hairdresser visit. I'm on a very very tight budget and found a $30 deal it was heaven. Try something new. Thank yourself for being strong Go see a sad movie and have a legit cry (lol) I'm sure other ladies have ideas to add to this idea of EOT and beyond girlie self love and lifestyle stuff Love from Ariel Gen 1a Peg/inf/riba 2012(!) stop @ Wk 43 potassium low +issues (rlps week 4 post tx, VL120,000) scnds eg. adenomas. pre sof/led VL 240,000 Fibsc F0 Day 25 <30 Day 32 UND Week 10 UND EOT UND ALT11AST17GGT19 SVR4 UND ALT10 AST16 GGT13 SVR8 UND ALT <9 AST16 GGT15 SVR12 UND ALT14 AST19 GGT12 Bili 5 EOT +18 ALT13 AST20 GGT9 Bili 5 EOT +21 ALT11AST15 Cured SVR12 Dysplasia Adenomas RemvdAug '16 SVR24 UND ALT11AST16 ColonoscopyClear Nov17 LumpectomyClear ‘18 LithotripsyCytoscopyBiopsy 4/18 | |
