If you have a negative Qualitative test is there any reason to do the Quantitative test also ? Wondering since I read the qualitative was the more sensitive of the two. Planning to get it anyway since hearing negative 2x won't make a positive. GT 1b HCV 34yrs VL abt 2,000,000 F1-F2 AST34 ALT45 Day 37 ALT 14 AST 20 UND EOT 4weeks UND

If its not there, it can't be measured. That, pretty much, is that. But, I subscribe to the philosophy of "if it makes you feel good, damn well better do it!" That practice has put me in some really good and some very questionable situations.... m This email address is being protected from spambots. I do the 4 week as a quantitative so if it is still there we see a nice small number. As soon as it is <15 there is no point doing more that qualitative. YMMV
