So a few people have asked how long the forum has been here and how fast it’s growing. I was interested too so ran the SQL query

select registerDate, WEEK(registerDate), count(*) from fhc_users group by WEEK(registerDate) order by registerDate into outfile '/tmp/reg.txt

To get the number of people that registered each week and produce this from Excel:

The difference between the front page number and back end represents accounts that are not active, either never got activated or got banned for being unrelated spam.

The blip in September correlates with the mainstream press the site had at that time, but the average growth has been ~ 45 members a week, and it’s been surprisingly constant.
