    Hello Everyone,

I was encouraged to find a large piece on hepc in “Attitude”, which is a UK based periodical aimed at the gay community. It was clear that the writer had done his homework as what he’d written was fairly accurate. Better still he mentioned Fixhepc!

This is a brilliant bit of publicity. Alright, the magazine has limited market appeal because most people don’t identify as gay and half of those who do are female – the mag mostly appeals to gay men- but it’s an important step in the right direction. As will be clear to the majority of contributors to the forum, it’s also very good because the route of infection for hepc is the same as for HIV and thus men who have sex with men are at higher risk than most of contracting it.

I have just found my copy, so here’s some more info: The feature is called ‘The new gay stigma’, written by Cliff Joannou and appears in October’s issue.

    Best wishes to you all,

    RSF

    Hi rightsaidfred,

It is important for people to find out about generic Hep C meds, but also to enlighten them to the huge number of generic medications that are available from around the world: from Cancer drugs to HIV meds, etc. Incepta for instance manufactures over 600 generic medications that are just pennies on the dollar compared to the original drugs, and can be imported to many countries. That is another achievement of the Fix HepC site, it has alerted the world to the general availability of generic medications available from third world manufacturers for very affordable prices.

    Hi Greedfighter,

That’s a very good point and certainly something I knew about. However I haven’t attempted to do anything about it as yet and am just doing what I can to let people know about Fixhepc.
