    @suesp_52

    Hi there, I’m new to all this so please be kind:)

    I have been on treatment now for 9 weeks, 3 weeks to go yay!! Anyways my question is this,

    my bloods have been coming back all good, my AST, ASL and GGT are all slowly coming into normal range, which I’m hoping is a good sign that I’m getting cured.. But today i had to see another Dr for another reason and she done a blood test which showed my ALP has risen, only slightly but its 112, now should i worry, also my urea is only 3.1, plus my c-reactive protein is 10, can any one tell me what is happening to my bloods please???

    Hello suesp_52,

    It’s easier if you post all your results.

    Your ALP is fine and slight rises are irrelevant.

    Your Urea depends only on how much you drink – more water and it’s lower, less water and it’s higher.

    Your CRP is non-specific for anything. CRP goes up with any injury or stress. We should just check it again in a few weeks or if you are unwell we should check you on the merits of that unwellness, not on your CRP value.

    YMMV
