these guys have a vibraphone too, didn't know that before, always liked this song.

Apparently this song has some bogus-Australian dna, too, because a group called the "Strangeloves" (who PRETENDED they were 3 brothers raised on an Australian sheep farm, because that sounded cooler than the reality , but who were really from Brooklyn) started doing it after their own song "I want candy") were playing the song in 1964 for awhile before the McCoys started playing it.
