If my viral load is not UND at 6 weeks, half treatment... Maybe it is recommended to prolonged the treatment with 4 weeks, with a total of 16 weeks? I don't know, I am a little bit disappointed. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks! HCV since I don't know. Diagnosed in 2010. GT1b, F0/F1, VL 9M, ALT 44, AST 42, Tx naive, started 12 wks Twinvir on 06.12.2015. I know from fixhepc.com/forum/viral-load-and-svr/287...ct.html?limitstart=0 that after 8 weeks I have a big chance of UND. But if not, maybe I must continue the treatment more then 12 weeks. So I have to arrange to buy the medication as soon as possible. Dr. James please consider my question if you have some little time. Thank you so much! HCV since I don't know. Diagnosed in 2010. If it cost low, make one at 6 week at another Lab. Delaying the viral load for 2 weeks I suspect it. To be detected at 4 weeks is normal but 83 I have not heard..... Male, Fibro F1. Geno 1b. Hi Enkel, Thanks! Good idea to test at another lab! But at this one I have 50% discount. Maybe I will try another lab at 8 weeks! HCV since I don't know. Diagnosed in 2010. Hi isaing4 Thankyou for your really great data in your blog and your questions they are very helpful to many people incl myself here on only Day 8. I know of a few people who have done all extra six weeks I also hear that some are still detected at 4 weeks but clear later on It seems that the aim of achieving an SVR isn't tightly linked to the four weeks result to my thinking Wishing us all our SVR hang in there all Cheers from Ariel PS sorry for the late reading of your story I am relatively new to the forum Gen 1a Peg/inf/riba 2012(!) stop @ Wk 43 potassium low +issues (rlps week 4 post tx, VL120,000) scnds eg. adenomas. pre sof/led VL 240,000 Fibsc F0 Day 25 <30 Day 32 UND Week 10 UND EOT UND ALT11AST17GGT19 SVR4 UND ALT10 AST16 GGT13 SVR8 UND ALT <9 AST16 GGT15 SVR12 UND ALT14 AST19 GGT12 Bili 5 EOT +18 ALT13 AST20 GGT9 Bili 5 EOT +21 ALT11AST15 Cured SVR12 Dysplasia Adenomas RemvdAug '16 SVR24 UND ALT11AST16 ColonoscopyClear Nov17 LumpectomyClear ‘18 LithotripsyCytoscopyBiopsy 4/18 The following user(s) said Thank You: LondonGirl, isaing4

| Hi Isaing - Do I read correctly that your VL came down from 9 million? (Can't see your Profile while typing this on small device, so much more tricky keeping up since big comp. out of action) If so, that may explain your result somewhat? it would have come down quite alot! Agree with Ariel over this, I've even read some people have been detected at EOT only to clear and know of someone personally who was 15 at EOT and went on to clear, so it could well be worth checking at another lab in 2 weeks. Agree also, be prepared, just in case, but that's a magnificent drop really, 9 mil to 83 . Thanks Ariel the mermaid, like your name Thanks LondonGirl, good choice also for your name, remind me of being spontaneous and young It is a big drop from 9.000.000 to 83 in 4 weeks. Those bastards were so many and they were feeling so good inside my liver/body. I was a polite host, but not anymore! Generally, I think positive and I am an optimistic. Happy with my progress toward regaining my health! All the best and UND soon to everyone of you! HCV since I don't know. Diagnosed in 2010. Heh you are right, isaing! The bastards were indeed many - and most have been decimated now, only the more persistent stragglers left As LG says, you can have detectable levels at EOT and still go on to achieve SVR, so I wouldn't be worrying at 4 weeks. Easy to say I know, when you read of others getting UND by that time. But there's still a long way to go GT1a since 1988, diagnosed 1990 F0, tx naive VL 262,000 ALT 40 AST 26 GGT 13 Fibroscan 04/12/15 - 2.9 Started Mesochem sof/dac 12 weeks 01/01/2016 11/02/2016 - 6 weeks UNDETECTED AST 26 ALT 26 The following user(s) said Thank You: isaing4 | |

When they did my test they did not ask for viral load, only detected/undetected. After the test came back detected the nurse requested the sample to be re-tested for viral load. The qualitative test (detected/undetected) is cheaper, it is done locally and is fairly quick. The viral load (quantitative) is more expensive and has to be sent to another state and can take 1-2 weeks. 3a F0 TX Naive Started Tx 12/12/2015 Kingswood Sof/Dac Pre Tx - ALT 71 AST 40 V/L 9 million Day 11 - ALT 12 AST 15 4 week - LFTs normal - detected (same sample sent for v/l showed undetected) :/ 6 week - UND 12 week EOT - UND SVR4 SVR12 The following user(s) said Thank You: Gaj

You are 1b F0-1 and treatment naive. That gives you a 99% chance of SVR with 12 weeks Sof/Led: ION-1 100% (67/67) ION-3 98% (43/44) Aggregate 99.1% (110/111) Not bad odds. To reassure you here are some real results from a patient of mine... Week 0 7.8 million Week 2 598 Week 4 76 Week 5.5 < 15 Week 8 0 Week 12 0 SVR 4 0 SVR 12 0 Lots of testing because she was a doctor and one of my first patients. 5.5 weeks because she went on a cruise! Personally if I wanted an insurance blanket I would add some Simeprevir rather than treat for longer. The odds are on your side and you are chasing the last 1-2%. fixhepc.com/forum/experts-corner/602-100...mpossible-dream.html YMMV
