Genotype testing 8 years 2 months ago #10767
I have done genotype only one time and resulted 1b, the test results includes the stript. The used method was versant 2.0 which detected 1, 1a, 1b....HCV genotypes are determined by aligning the strips with a reading card and comparing the line patterns from the strip with the patterns on the interpretation chart. This method has one stript for 1 and one for 1a and one for 1b? How accurate is the interpretation of the scripts? Only Doc can answer this i think. I am exactly the strip 1b (figure2 page 4) rrml.ro/articole/2008/2008_3_5.pdf Male, Fibro F1. Geno 1b. ALT 67 before treatment Viral load 5 million.
