Zepatier + Sofosbuvir trial effective for 'hard to treat' GT3s 7 years 5 months ago #22730
Some promising results from a trial for 'hard to treat' genotype 3 patients with cirrhosis + treatment experience. Hopefully this C-ISLE clinical trial will lead to inclusion of a Zepatier+ treatment as another recommended (or at least off label) option for GT3. www.infohep.org/Grazoprevirelbasvir-sofo...tients/page/3099138/ G3a since '78 - Dx '12 - F4 (2xHCC) 24wk Tx - PEG/Riba/Dac 2013 relapsed 24wk Tx - Generic Sof/Dac/Riba 2015/16 relapsed 16wk Tx - 12/01/17 -> 03/05/17 NS3/NS5a + Generic Sof SVR7 - 22/06/17 UND SRV12 - 27/07/17 UND SVR24 - 26/10/17 UND | |

Hi beaches, You want generics two days after we find out it works?! At the moment it's news of a possible option for GT3s for whom current treatments aren't always very effective. Although in countries where branded Zepatier is already available GT3 patients needing to retreat could have a discussion with their specialist about supplying their own generic Sofosbuvir. So....... I find Elbasvir on the Mesochem search function but no Grazoprevir. Does anyone know anything. I read a link about Beacon being the first to copycat it but so far it does not look like the link has the right info. I'm still looking but I reckon James already knows the answer.
