Supplements - Higher Vit D Levels Improve SVR Rate 8 years 3 months ago #7867
Here is a meta analysis (pooled results) from a number of studies about HCV, Vit D Levels, and SVR www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3793147/ What it suggests is that you are more likely to SVR with a higher Vit D level. In Tasmania over 50% of the population are Vit D deficient. Being Vit D deficient reduced SVR rates with Interferon/Riba. It may or may not have any impact on DAA performance but I would at the very least have my levels checked and take supplements to get into the high normal range if required.
