He does! he is my present for surviving- I didn't think I had a dogs lifespan left in me. We got him as 8 month puppy and it turns out he was born the day I had my appointment my Dr J, which is cool. We had fun with the name, needed something that sounded like toffee which he knew... Gefree, sounds like Jeffery, has the free of Freeman, GE free would be good for NZ, and g3-free for me!
Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

G1a probably early 1980's, Biopsy F1(2010), F2-F3(2015). VL 5+mill; 2+mill (2014) Tx naive. Accessed Sof/Led through Dr Freeman at GP2U and Buyers Club (lifesavers!!!)
Commenced tx 12/11/15. 9 wk: VL <15 Detected but LFT = Normal 12 week results: UND (Yay!) Due to slow response commenced Sof/Dac 4 Feb for 12 weeks. EOT @ 24 weeks 27 April 2016. (With thanks to Dr Freeman et al). SVR11 result: VL 1,950,000. It's back!
New tx 030916 (Viekira Pak, Solvadi, Ribavirin UND @ 111116. EOT 170217.

Hi Just received my SVR 12 , I have had HCV 1b for over 40 years I did 24 weeks Sof /Dac + Riba first 14 weeks.
Like to thank Greg Jefferies Dr Freeman and members on this forum reading your stories helped me heaps.

Diagnosed in 2004, had HCV for all my adult life. Until 2016!!!!
Harvoni treatment, started 19 March 2016
4 week results Bilirubin 12 down from 14 pre treatment,
Gamma 25 down from 52, ALT 19 down from 63, AST 19 down from 47,
VL <15 down from a lazy 6 million or so

EOT Results
Bilirubin 10, GGT 18, ALT 19, AST 21, VL UND

12 Weeks post EOT
Bilirubin 11, GGT 16, ALT 22, AST 20, VL UND
Cured baby

Thankyou everybody for your kind words to say it has been a life changer is an understatement the clarity of mind is great (no more brain fog)
And other health issues seem to be following suite eg. Anxiety, Reflux. Still have to get SVR 24 pretty sure I will.

I just hope people reading this and other people's success stories will take that leap of faith and get themselves treated while the opportunity exist and get your life back .

And for the people who unfortunately relapsed just a hiccup things are looking good with new meds becoming available . :+1:
