Well, I had a nice chat with Zion this morning ....and he still hasn't been told whether or not he gets treatment. He said he was headed there to talk to them again as soon as he was finished talking with me. As was pointed out earlier, he stated that there was enough money for eight people and 12-16 had showed up ... and they don't know who will get the treatment.
I told him the money is still here and that I believe there will be enough for two people to get 24 weeks each or four people to get 12 weeks of Sof/Dac treatment, and to try to find out the names of whoever didn't get the treatment. He'll try and repeated that he would get a hold of the reporter to share my contact info and the site's address. So if Price and Zion are each talking to the reporter we may get some action on it.
But, now looking at the numbers, I realize that I was presumptuous in assuming matching funds beyond the first $500.
What we actually have is $3000, and 48 weeks of Sof/Dac is currently priced at $4320 plus international shipping costs ... so if we could get a little more help I would be grateful.
At the same time, while it would not be a good idea to reveal names at this point, I am aware of the availability of 20 weeks worth of excess Sof/Led that two generous people have offered. Maybe we can help three or four people!
