Thanks LG, you just answered my niggling Qs also,
Glad your plan B looks like it's getting sorted.
Fix hep C, Monkmed and Fed Ex Fast Tracked, they look good in the same sentence!
Lots of love

Hi LG sorry to hear your struggle continues. Ive been away alot and not reading as much on the forum. Sending you Best Wishes. I also have not felt the fibroscan has been something I could trust because of different readings, then add another year on without up to date test .... is what led me to just go the 24 weeks sof / led . Ive got 21 days to go. After awhile you just get used to the extra weeks and it becomes auto pilot. The weeks past quickly. Remember the fat lady's not singing yet. ( i hope you know that expression) coz if you dont its a weird thing to say, especially to a thin person. Anyway my hearts in the right place. Good Luck, she'll be right mate. Jill
Geno1a 35years fibrosis 2 or 3 different results from different hospitals ??
24weeks mesochem sof/led as unsure of fibrosis status.
currently UND. No bad side effects
Have svr12 ... waiting for svr 24
I now have SVR 36 weeks.

Thank-you for your good wishes Poodle #flower Yes, I've heard that saying , haven't got a clue where it came from, but get it :)

My new meds arrived this morning, sent by the wonderful MonkMed Mond night /Tuesd morning, so they took 3 days.- Amazing ! Tracked their journey on FedEx.

The whole journey went smoothly, cleared by UK customs and on the van towards my house. Was up early as didn't want to miss the postman with the blinds open and my big ears on for the doorbell. Then suddenly, the Fedex update said 'delivered' - What??? !! Rang FedEx and discovered after some pushing, they had been delivered to a 'Mr A ' at completely the wrong house  All the way from India no problem and get to the shortest last leg of the journey - England and it's wonderful service minded employees, clearly Mr Van Man could not read properly, didn't know his numbers (name & address printed in block text, perfectly) or tell the difference between the sexes! Legged it up the road in my floral pjs and fluffy slippers, still on the phone to FedEx and thank heavens the people were in and had my parcel. (They had had it for over 30 mins, but didn't think to bring it down). FedEx were trying to tell me they had knocked at my door, but they hadn't and no 'delivery given to neighbour' note either (not really a neighbour either, it was half-way up the street past another road!) - Phew !! This did my BP no good at all! thankfully, had a quick cry and all ended well.

I definitely recommend those who order meds by mail, to buy from someone who uses a tracked service, otherwise, I could've been knocking on alot of doors anxiously and package could've disappeared into the ether , forever ....(and ever amen) !

Anyway, there's another little tale from Blighty for you all ;) All's well that ends well as they say and apart from a rather rude awakening this morning I am feeling loads better. Also got blood requests for week 12 from GP.

Hey ho. #love to all.

Im well thanks
The UND is still sinking in :) and somewhere not too far off in the future your UND is coming for you too xx

Im getting ready for another night shift which no doubt its going to be busy. The students here have an annual street party in Dunedin (Hyde street) where they get up to all sorts of mischief. last year we had some nasty fractures and cuts come into theater. ED doubles its staff tonight to cope with the influx. Theres nothing like trying to get a drunk to co operate so you can get them off to sleep...ahhhh let the good times roll.

Heres an article from today about the party.......

Damn LG - I'm not complaining about Aust Post again anytime soon :p Wrong address, egad! AP successfully made a trek up many stairs (out of sight of the road, something which has confounded generations of meter-readers lol) to deliver my meds - and all on a day where it was about 35*C so they weren't left cooking in the heat somewhere lol

Great to hear you finally have them...looking forward to your UND now. All the best :)

Just got VL back <12 - 'detected but unable to quantify'

So in that 'grey area' that quite a few have been before - This has given me the momentum to swallow my Sofo/DAC with gusto. Hope it gets those last few stubborn stragglers. Feeling more confident now.

Meanwhile, attached a nice colour image on my insides taken with the amazing LiverMultiScan (don't say I don't share everything with you guys  )

It's a comp all all four images and gives me a reading of 1.5 which apparently, is not bad at all and pretty good for someone with HepC.

Onwards and BIG #love to all.

ps My psychedelic insides : Green is good, red is bad (only within the liver). I was told those yellow squggles were 'vessels'. This was taken 'as if chopping across' - So the red / blue band at the bottom would be my front I think. It shows us just big and important the liver is!

More here : perspectum-diagnostics.com/products/livermultiscan/ These guys are doing innovative & amazing work. If you are in the UK, you can contact them if you would like to request being part of the ongoing trial. You also get a fibroscan to compare. Dr Banerjee is the inventor & is a warm , friendly personality who doesn't patronise and is doing great work for us. He is in a video here : perspectum-diagnostics.com and you can apply if you wish here: perspectum-diagnostics.com/latestnews/
This could do away with the need for many biopsies.

(Edit) Have added 2 more images, hopefully more explanatory?
