Thank-you for your good wishes Poodle
Yes, I've heard that saying , haven't got a clue where it came from, but get it
My new meds arrived this morning, sent by the wonderful MonkMed Mond night /Tuesd morning, so they took 3 days.- Amazing ! Tracked their journey on FedEx.
The whole journey went smoothly, cleared by UK customs and on the van towards my house. Was up early as didn't want to miss the postman with the blinds open and my big ears on for the doorbell. Then suddenly, the Fedex update said 'delivered' -
What??? !!
Rang FedEx and discovered after some pushing, they had been delivered to a '
Mr A ' at completely the wrong house
All the way from India no problem and get to the shortest last leg of the journey - England and it's wonderful service minded employees, clearly Mr Van Man could not read properly, didn't know his numbers (name & address printed in block text, perfectly) or tell the difference between the sexes! Legged it up the road in my floral pjs and fluffy slippers, still on the phone to FedEx and thank heavens the people were in and had my parcel. (They had had it for over 30 mins, but didn't think to bring it down). FedEx were trying to tell me they had knocked at my door, but they hadn't and no 'delivery given to neighbour' note either (not really a neighbour either, it was half-way up the street past another road!) - Phew !! This did my BP no good at all! thankfully, had a quick cry and all ended well.
I definitely recommend those who order meds by mail, to buy from someone who uses a tracked service, otherwise, I could've been knocking on alot of doors anxiously and package could've disappeared into the ether , forever ....(and ever amen) !
Anyway, there's another little tale from Blighty for you all
All's well that ends well as they say and apart from a rather rude awakening this morning I am feeling loads better. Also got blood requests for week 12 from GP.
Hey ho.
to all.
