4 week VL results of 12 week Sof/Dac/Riba treatment. GT 1b, F 3/4. July VL 480,000

24 September 2015 VL................Not Detected.

Congrat Chester.Could you give us a precis on what side effects you are experiencing,and have experienced.
Gen 1b 40yrs,tx naive, f3/f4.VL too high to quantify.
Started tx 12Oct.sof and riba India via greg.Dac from Mesochem.
4wk result virus not detected,all liver functions in normal ranges.
Only SE intermittent insomnia.Feel great and grateful otherwise

Nurse at Royal Hobart said that of all the patients she has now monitored, no one who was undetected at 4 weeks has relapsed.

Based on this and the rest of our discussion with her (klhilde was with me), I will not be extending to 24 weeks.

To answer the question, I have had no sides. My RBCs are still well within normal limits.

However, my attitude to side effects has always been, side effects or liver cancer. It seems to me, that is a very easy choice.
