Hello Jeanmarc, I am in Sydney where testing very accessible and most of the tests done eg Vit D, B12 came back with LFT result but waiing on the other result. this is my path test after 4 wks on sof/led. So other results in 2 1/2 days ago and wondering what the usual time from bloods to result with path. Cheers, I hpe, Annasnow The following user(s) said Thank You: Ariel

Annasnow, Viral load test takes longer, done in batches, can be 1-2weeks Genotype 3 30 years, 2x treatment interferon/ribavirin non responder. Cirrhosis 17 years. Fibroscan, decompensating, 40 down to 22 by 29/3/16- now down to 6.5, normal, no cirrhosis. Started Buyers Club Sof/Dac 14 Nov 15. SVR 12 29/0716

Yes, in most cases they batch them up and do any for the week at the same time so if you get your bloods taken the next day then there is a 6 day delay until they start to process yours which is why the 1-2 week turn around. So all about timing. And standard LFTs are 2-3 days through my local lab or overnight (faster if urgent) through the hospital.
