    Hello Dr Freeman. My daughter who lives in Bathurst/Orange area has been waiting for over 2 months to see an authorised prescribing doctor for treatment for HCV 1a. She has had all the tests including a recent fibroscan. Unfortunately the doctor was supposed to arrive by plane in Orange today but the plane was delayed in Sydney and the doctor didn’t catch it. It appears she has to wait another 2 months to get seen. So disappointing! Is there any way she can access assistance for PBS prescribing through GP2U?

    Hello,

    Yes, of course. Just book an appointment and we can get it all sorted – she should be well on the way to cure by the time the doctor flies back in.
