    Just been on PM a bit over the past couple of days, and I have a suggestion how it could be more user-friendly.

    Em, this is your speciality, yes? I dunno how difficult this would be technically to set up, but is there a relatively simple way that there could be popup notifications in a new window when an unread message comes in? Plenty of forums I’ve been a member of over the years had that functionality, just wondering how feasible it might be to implement here. Forget to check or get distracted, and you miss them (well could be just me and/or the brain fog, not sure lol)

    Just sounding out the possibility :)

    Hey Zhuk, similar to what happens in the new private messages near announcements, yes I agree and the popup could even go in the private chat tab, which is linked to the bottom right pm, but would be good to have a little red circle showing the number of messages etc. To be honest I’ve tried to do this and I believe the the module we’re using don’t have lots of capabilities like this but will talk with James and developer.     Hey emilio cheers for the reply. If its a bit of an ask technically, no worries – just thought I’d throw it out there re feasibility. I get that some site architecture might not play too well. All good :)

    Im sure it can be done however remember im an accidental admin lol. The architecture is really limited. In particular the chat module. Ill talk with the developer this week. James could i get his number please cheers. Em
