    LOL
    No worries GT2
Would you believe I spent most of my working career in IT, building corporate internetworks. The more I knew what they knew, the more reclusive I became with anything on the net. No Facebook, no hi five, linked in NOT, Twitter what is that. No I think Facebook is not for me. I like to shake hands and look people in the eyes. When I Bought my Meds on the streets of Bangkok in an arranged meeting via Greg J’s help I was sceptical until about five minutes into the conversation with a gentlemen by the name of Mr. G. I knew what he was about and the Meds he held were the real deal. The face to face meet with Mr. G made the leap of faith a lot less scary. Cheers

Doctor Freeman you are certainly a beacon of light in a dark place. I thank you for having the courage to stand strong against the status quo. It’s a lot easier to be silent and live your life under the radar, than to take on more than most are equipped to handle. I forwarded your why I do what I do to my daughter, who will soon be joining the ranks as a medical practioner. Good karma, prayer, thoughts coming your way from me and my family until my final breath.

Thank you sir for doing what you do……

    Got it. GF :+1:

I do know how to live under the radar as a highly functioning addict.

Hey Simone, you are in the right place. Similar story as you ex drug injector I have no health insurance (American) living in Asia. I just finished my fourth week of generic Sof/led and all liver functions have returned to normal. My reactions to the Meds have been fatigue and occasional headache. Just push through those times and they fade. Wish you all the best and see you on the other side. #flower #flower #flower

Boarding my flight from BKK-HK-BOS in four hours and I leave with a bit of good news after my 4th week blood draw. All liver LFT’s have come back to normal range. Yippee :) Have to wait about ten days for the viral load results. You folks have kept me up when I was really down and thank you all. #love #love Will be back online when I settle in Boston after the horrible 20+ hour flight. I have my herbal tea and honey and also my fantastic Yeti travel mug. #flower #flower best cheese

Beaches your salute put that first smile on my face today. :) :)

I am an addict and will forever be, acceptance at AA and NA should be a given, (I hope/am sure) unless things have changed drastically in the past 15 years. Hep C is just part of my addiction story of recovery, sobriety, and redemption. I will be dropping off for a few days Wed-Fri but will be back when I get settled back in the US.

    Point taken Kihilde.
At this time I will be happy to make it through customs in Boston without assistance.
I had come out of severe fatigue last week and was full of P+V, but this past weekend am back there, Just able to saunter around and feeling not too well. Not looking forward to the 20+ hours flight from Bangkok to Boston, but will be happy to get there. Just took my 28th pill and going for bloodwork today as I do not have a doctor in the US and I do not think I can just stroll into a lab to request blood work like I can here in the sticks of Northern Thailand.

One thought I had to help spread the word, (albeit with less fanfare but more focus) is to attend AA and NA meetings as I did many times when I was living in the US. It’s a perfect support environment to speak at, no judgement, no conflict, and the folks attending are all there to help/support each other. Also I do not think there would be any issues with providing doc Freemans published work for reading as you suggested. Very much appreciate your wisdom and kind words. Best Cheese

Good advice from all. Customs are just doing their job. No need to poke the tiger in the eye, yet.

I will technically be smuggling rx into the US by not declaring and not having a doctors presription but they are pretty lenient on an individuals meds, as long as the quanity is not too high. I have never had an issue carrying the odd strip of meds such as Xanax without a script. One thing they do not like is concealment, so will have my HCV meds in their original containers tucked in my travel kit with my xanax and other odd toiletries for the long haul flight :)

Gaj: good advise on having my documents with me. I printed all of my documents IE blood work, Fibroscan, and ultra sounds so very easy to explain my condition if they happen to stop me. #flower

    Hi GF
Your last sentence did srike a chord.
To be credible I need to be cured.
With that I will likely just pass through customs without declaration and if stopped or searched then will deal with it.
    Thanks

I have a flight from Bangkok to Boston next week. I am thinking of declaring my generic DAA’s at customs arrival.

I do not have a script since I was not able to get meds via redemtion because of Thai customs.

I bought the meds directly on the streets in Bangkok from a trusted, vetted, contact I got from Greg J.

I want to push the Activism envelope and see what customs says and does. Is this foolish ?

I figure worst case, they take the meds and I start redemption in the US where I will be staying for the next few months. I do not want to jeopardize my tx.but feel this issue needs light and exposure, even if only to customs agents as the new normal.

    Feedback please.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and true this only happened once where I was immedietaly asked how did you get that. It was from an aquaintence who did not mean any ill will. I think this has been a bit personel to me and how I never really confronted and made peace with my past. It’s a bit liberating now to just tell people my story of how it happened and most importantly how to get it fixed. I do tell everyone I lknow about this site in the hopes that in some way it reaches someone who needs it.

Ahh the sentence about the big pharmaceticals have been great partners to our foundation is why he would not say a bad word about them.

Also love how Bill talks about the compassionate tiered pricing.

Here in Thailand treatment runs about $14-15K USD. That prices about 95% of the Thai population out of the cure.

Earth to Bill come out of your bubble.

    Horse $hit.

This does get me fired up though. Cant wait to get back to the US for some activism at the roots.

    Thanks for booost
