I found on the Peg/riba tx the riba sides were worse than my last tx which was with some orals +riba ( Ifn added later though unfortunately)
So what I mean is, I found without Peg Ifn, the Ribas aren’t as bad.With the dry skin & hair I found coconut oil worked well & also washing & moisturising with Aveeno, found in supermarkets & chemists.
Really good stuff.Unfortunately I also lost heaps of hair though.
to stop, or help stop the riba rash, you need to keep moisturised & keep well hydrated.
My tx’s paid havoc on my hormones, I’m more & more sure that they caused the miscarriages .
Also in the third trimester of my pregnancy which gave me my J, I had cholestasis of pregnancy which was caused by the hep as well,
I nearly lost him from that & the torture from the never ending itch & rash from the disease was almost unbearable.

You are a very strong, determined woman, you’ve been through so much, please keep posting, it does help to know there are so many who care.I know everyone will be wishing & hoping for you to come out of this hep free!

Hey M,
Take it really slowly.
I’m also on Lexapro & tried coming down off them, I felt quite weird, horrible, when going from 20mg down to 15mg

I realised you got to do it super slowly.next time I feel my life’s stable enough to get off them, I’m going to do it over a few months.
If possible I’ll try to cut a pill into sections of 8 instead of 4.So then the brain can get used to it better.

ps I have also suffered multi-miscarriage in the past & baby born early. Have also read the virus can cause this.
Wow LG, exactly what I wondered when I had many miscarriages & had J early.
I often wondered if the virus was to blame?
My liver specialist at the time said they just didn’t know.Also, one particular horrible tx I went through , the second one, sent me into early menopause.
So obviously some meds can do this.

I think your tx will defeat the virus, just hope some of your other illnesses disappear with it .

I will go into J’s room now & try to find anything like nail scissors, tweezers toothbrush etc & chuck them.

they are nasty, but I think the cow poo must have freaked them out!!
They seem to have disappeared, I hope so.Don’t like to use poisons as we also have BlueTongue lizards, don’t want to risk hurting them.
We might try boiling water down their hole if they’re still there.
