I hope it all goes well for you, sounds good so far.
They say that with the oral treatment , just 4 weeks post tx is the new SVR date.
So maybe get the test done then instead of waiting 8 weeks post tx (treatment)All the best,

Just wanted to update.
J has finished his 12 week tx, and was tested & UD, which I thought he would be but nice to see anyway.
Now the wait for the “big one” post tx 4 week VL.
He’s doing really well & very happy.
He today had to see his dermatologist, who works with his old liver specialist.
She asked how’s J’s health going, & I told her how he is virus free & she was so happy for him, but her smile seemed to fade a little when I told her it was from “generics”.
I expected that reaction, most specialists just don’t know enough about them I guess.But she may not completely believe, me I think, because she’s insisted that he has a LFT test tomorrow.
….What a waist of time, oh well, I guess she’ll see his good ALT & AST & see for herself.Anyway, we will keep posting his results.
And I’ll still be hanging around to cheer everyone on

I agree with Wayne, you could make an appointment with GP2U via internet, then you get to Skype with one of the doctors here.
My son got treated via GP2U by Dr James Freeman, wonderful man.
He’s now virus free.
Go for it, it’s easy .Good luck.

I feel so very isolated, abandoned – my family and friends back ‘home’, haven’t contacted me to see how I’m doing – and very alone on this journey. It still amazes me how no-one wants to talk about this ‘virus’ and they’d rather ignore me than confront it.

J’s fine. He’s at EOT now & had bloods yesterday, just for peace of mind.
