Congratulations on your SVR12 milestone Hazel. You’ve put up a mighty fight with great results. Thanks also for all of your efforts in raising awareness about HepC treatment options.
Hey SShady. That is fantastic news. Thanks for sharing and just enjoy
This is a sight for sore eyes (and a sore liver). Love your work Beacon and thankyou thankyou Dr Freeman.

Hi JM. So sorry to hear your news. I have also relapsed after 24 weeks of treatment. I know it is incredibly disappointing but there are more treatment options now and in the pipeline. We need to take a breath and find out the best way to fight this again.
CoralOh my goodness Beaches – no apologies required. We’re all in this big messy adventure together.
Hi RHF,
Thanks for your thoughts and for reposting the video. I’m always happy to watch anything starring Dr Freeman! You’re right that he mentioned my experience exactly i.e if it comes back you will know because you will feel like you did before treatment to some degree.
Thanks re_roll. I totally agree about taking charge of our own health outcomes. It’s amazing what people have achieved by doing that. Good luck with your latest blood test.
Hi 2b – really good to hear from you. Bummer huh?? I won’t pretend I’m not pissed off but I count myself lucky that I have some good options in the pipeline. I hope everything is going well for you over there. Interesting times!
Hi Peach and Beaches,
I think anxiety is another element of the whole treatment plan! Hang in there – the odds really are well in your favour.
I’ll second that Yahoo Tweakmax. Way to go Beacon Pharma!
Price – me too my friend.
Jeff – thanks for your thoughts. You asked about changes in well being post EOT. I think I knew when the virus cleared at about 10 or 11 weeks because I felt so clear headed, energetic, positive and just better. This continued for a good few weeks after EOT.
A few weeks ago at about 8 or 9 weeks post EOT I started to recognise some old familiar symptoms i.e. Lethargy, flatness, lack of energy, foggy etc. It felt different than general tiredness or illness or feeling a bit down. I mentioned this to a few close friends and said that I thought that the virus might be back. This was why I went for SVR11 rather than waiting the extra week.
I’m really conscious while writing this that others are waiting for results. I know that it is an anxious time but I am one of the minority that has relapsed and for the majority these fantastic little pills are doing their job. A few of us just have to find the right combination.
Debs that is wonderful news and I’m so pleased for you. Thanks for your kind thoughts now go and celebrate!
