    Hi Cindi,

Thankyou for your post, and I am really glad your son is not experiencing any sides! As you say being in the bloom of youth may have something to do with it. :)
I’ve got my hospital appt. on Thursday so will talk to them about it then.
Hi Kenbansman, I wouldn’t do anything yourself re bp meds, best to get docs advise – doesn’t sound that bad to me, but I’m not a doctor. All the best to you

Oops! Have just read the posts re the Elemis frangipani Monoi oil, but not the links yet, but will do.
I would find it very hard to give this product up as I find it so lovely!
But am going to look at these links now……..

    Hi Pat!
It’s great to know that by posting our experiences we are helping each other. Glad you found the hair posts useful! :) Thankyou!
I also hope your blood pressure gets sorted. If your bp med is a good one on tx maybe they will just increase the dose?
    All the best

    Thanks LG

Agree, I think the home bp machines can read higher, so that’s a consolation!
It’s just when you get a high reading accompanied by whooshing in ears and a sort of pre headache, it’s a concern! But I’m sure it will settle soon ( touch wood, feels fine at the minute!)

Sorry about the rude woman you had to put up with getting your bloods, it’s not on, have posted on your thread.

Yeah it is ” real easy ” to relax of an evening…… nice….. B) :)

    All the best,

    Go girl LG! :) :+1: #duck

Glad the actual procedure was fine!

I’m always surprised by the culture of rudeness that seems to exist in particular places. For example I always go to a further away friendly post office where nothing is a bother rather than the one nearby where they are all miserable and rude. Why? They can’t all be horrible people in one place and the lovely ones in another. Maybe it’s something to do with the management or rather lack of I guess. So hopefully some health authority people WILL read about your experience LG.

But job done and hoping for a great result for you

    Hi All,

just a quick recommendation for the dry hair, and possibly skin. The Elemis frangipani Monoi oil is a beautiful product ( don’t work for the company etc) it’s not cheap but you only need a little bit. It’s solid at room temperature, so you need to pop the bottle in warm water. But a few drops on your hair after shampooing and then rinse off with your conditioner. Makes the hair feel lovely for a couple of days I find. ( Also makes my skin feel really soft after a few drops in the bath. However I’m not sure if it would irritate existing skin conditions, but I think they use natural ingredients, so worth checking. I get mine on QVC. Anyone else used it?

Hi LG, I’m fine, you must be a mind reader as I was going to update on my thread shortly! Thanks for asking :) #flower
Must be your consultant appt. soon? Hope bloods went o.k also, if you have had them by now.

Have had a few problems with changing the blood pressure medication. I’d certainly advise anyone if they are on blood pressure meds and they are the ones that interact, get it sorted pre tx. Reducing to Half a dose didn’t work for me and now I’ve changed to a green flag one ( no interactions) it will take a few weeks to properly kick in and meanwhile I am getting some fluctuations and some quite high readings (175 /102) the other night. I was worried to go to sleep! I didn’t realise it wasn’t that straightforward to just change to a different bp med.

So I am being a bit quiet at home and avoiding stress of any kind. Also doing some good walks with the dog along the beach, all weathers. There is a rugged beauty to the North East coastline, a bit like Scotland has, Vorroro if you are reading.
    So that’s it,
Hope all is well with everyone on tx
    Take care #love #duck #flower

    Hi
Does anyone have any particular brand products they can recommend re B12 and Alpha Linoic Acid to take whilst on tx? I was going to change my Holland and Barrett B complex.
LG – the Lamberts B complex seems to have quite high doses, but I was thinking of getting that and taking half a pill?
