Hey Gaj, I actually purchased a laser comb a few years ago as I was so worried about my hair falling out! It didn’t work and was a right hassle, recently sold on eBay for a fraction of the price…….Tried all sorts over the years and found nourkrin worked the best but gave it up pre tx in preparation and, as yet, touch wood, no big shed! In fact my hair is getting quite thick! I really can’t explain it as it had been the bane of my life for years. Amazing. I’m quite taking it for granted now, but it did stop falling pre tx…..Or maybe it was my prayers…….it did used to really upset me.
Anyway that’s my twopennerth worth, oor Wullie, glad to read about your unexpected bonus! Wonder if it’s happened to anyone else?
Hi tweakmax, I had same as you after EOT. Definite pain in liver area rather than discomfort sometimes but fairly fleeting. I haven’t noticed it for the past week or so and will be 4 weeks EOT on Monday. Think it’s gone! I have heard it said it can be the healing process, and a few people have experienced it, I also remember seeing it mentioned on a uk site. Nothing to worry about I think, though we do worry at EOT!

Don’t know who said it ( but I would add “or man” obvs, thinking of DrJames )

On a roll today!
Really pleased that another person is getting NHS monitoring for generic hep c drugs! Yay! ( Wonder if your consultant went to the liver conference last weekend?)
If you have to go through Gp2U for a script it’s very reasonably priced, can’t remember exact figure at the mo.I’m pretty sure Monkmed guarantee to get it to you (they Fed Ex it) as part of the redemption trials. Also you need to start off by making an appointment to get your script from GP2U.
Hope this helps.
Any questions, please ask
CheersOh Beaches, how times change! I’ve still got their album in my attic somewhere. I was a punk but I love the queen nowadays……
And Johnny rotten advertises butter…..who would have thought?

Yes, Hazel, all that youthful energy summed up in the opening guitar riff! It’s the Only One I remember by them, great stuff glad you enjoyed!
CLASS! I love this Pat, never knew of her before….
Deb XHi Fernandez, don’t worry I think things will be getting a whole lot easier soon as Dr Freeman apparently blew them away at the.Barcelona Liver Conference and many Consultants will have been there too!
I am northern and lucky to have a sympathetic hospital obviously too far for you! London Girl will be on soon and she will have some good advice for you. The link Chapel posted is definitely worth reading in the meantime.
All the best, you have come to the right place,
DebsPS I would definitely recommend going through the Buyers Club as you get support via Monkmed care “thrown in” and they are wonderful.
PPS. Just thinking about it again, when you see your doctor on Weds , can’t hurt to gather as much info as possible to try to change her mind.
Cipla drugs are used by the NHS and my HepcvirL (sof/led) is made by Cipla. So they are not “unknown” drugs (also mention the secure supply line that is in place via the buyers club, that makes them feel more relaxed.) I am being monitored by my specialist nurse at a big and very well respected northern hospital. So your treatment team are not really going out on a limb, it’s all been done before at different hospitals around the country, nothing for them to worry about really, they are only going to do your blood tests and VL tests.
I hope maybe LG will have info re the London area if you can’t persuade them.“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Thought this was an apt one for today! Dedicated to Dr F and the generic rebels at the conference today, and not forgetting Monkmed.
So much good news coming thick and fast! Congratulations Ken!
Mike! FAB!
And even though you were naughty as well! …….Test Unit Mike -
