Yes, you will still test positive for some years, however you could insist it is a false positive and ask for a viral load…

See the GP Cheat Sheet http://fixhepc.com/forum/forum-gp-cheat-sheet.html

    Hep C Ab Levels

Hep C Ab levels fall over time but patients who have been cured will continue to test positive for Hep C for years.

Sustained virological response is associated with clearance of hepatitis C virus RNA and a decrease in hepatitis C virus antibody.

    Hello Desley,

    Try this:

Take 1/2 the dose of Dac (30 mg Dac) for the next 2 days. Either 1/2 the tab or tip 1/2 out of the capsule.

I have several < 50 kg patients who had to reduce to Dac dose (temporarily) to make it tolerable.

Hi 2b, I live in Arizona, USA and did a web search and found a place in Scottsdale, AZ about 90 miles from where I live, that does fibroscans..I called them and found out I could come in as self pay patient and get the test done. $350.00 US, they had a Dr. there to read the test and consult, even let me come in on a Saturday. I’m so glad I did as the results told me I needed to get treatment ASAP, F4. I could tell something had changed and my body was not handling the virus as before. The name of the place is the Liver Lab and they said people of far as Alaska travel there to get the test done. I have just started generics, second day, and already feel a new sense of hope and feel better. HUGE thanks to this site and all who helped…

I thought that Mesochem only manufactures the APIs and is not currently in the business of encapsulating product for retail sale?

So any prepackaged pill/capsule product worldwide labelled as being Mesochem made or manufactured obviously is not theirs and should be viewed as fake?

    Is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. Small size Mesochem product looks like this:

    Hi Browny

My energy levels have improved this week (being the second week on my treatment. I normally don’t function well without a good nights’ sleep but it certainly doesn’t bother me that much this week because I am actually feeling “better” and the fatigue only comes and goes and is manageable. I haven’t really read of anyone that has had really awful side effects but from my perspective I count myself incredibly lucky that insomnia is the only significant side effect that I have had so far.

    Hope this helps.

Hi Browny I started two weeks ago and had the first week off work as I didn’t know how the meds would affect me. The only side effect I have had is insomnia. Bit of a shock to the system the first few days as I love my sleep and work in the legal industry so need my wits about me! This second week I am back at work and feel much better. Getting used to waking earlier.

Good luck and I am sure you will be okay to work.

    Regards

    Lynne

Hi Joan Glad to hear your liver function tests are good……..I am nearly 14 days in and have had insomnia from the first dose however I seem to be getting “used” to it. Back at work full time this week..first day was horrendous, sooo tired but yesterday I felt great…up and down like you are describing it. Looking forward to hearing your 4 week results. I get my 4 week blood test done in a fortnight…fingers crossed.

    Stay positive and well.
