Great news Vivcus,
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly things get better with treatment.
Keep taking the tablets (with food) and all should be well for SVR.

Получение не обнаружено через 4 недели в лечении – очень хорошая новость.

Looks like it all worked out fine!

Hello Cheryl,
All done.

Hi Cheryl,
Sorry to hear you’ve been having problems.
The chat box will open if you click on it and close if you click the little “-” thing at the top right
What sort of a phone are you using?
I don’t suppose you have a computer you could try it on?

Hi Tracey,
I’m quite happy to see you and have slots for Hep C appointments available over the next couple of days.
I’m at https://gp2u.com.au/ and it looks like Mar has given you the instructions about how to book in.

Hi Tracy,
I’m sure some of the people here will chime in, but here are a few thoughts…
I guess you’ve watched this video:
which is me talking about it with the “If it seems to good to be true, it usually is warning… (followed by the why it is not)”
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page there are a couple of links called “Why Trust FixHepC?” and “Scam Check FixHepC” – unusual stuff to put on a scam website and there to help people not get scammed.
On this forum you can see thousands of patients talking about it since 2015 – that history is your best reassurance.
Anybody can create a fake website, but only time can create history. With time the truth eventually comes out.
Have a look at this BBC video from 2 years ago of Sean Reddin.

At 5:32 seconds in you will see some bottles with both my name and his on them. That was a very long time ago
If you have a look at this one, which has 1/2 a million views and 150 patients putting their comments and real names on it including Sean…
It’s not a scam, but if it was, you would have to admire our attention to detail!

Rumour has it that it could be soon, but what that means in terms of dates remains unknown.

Hello Shiela,
You are in very good hands. Professor Jordan Feld is one of the world experts in HCV treatment.
Good luck. It looks like things are already heading the right way.

Hello Sunflower,
It’s not unusual to be unsettled and “a bit flu like” when you start treatment. This relates to the viral death happening.
Keeping your fluid intake up can really help.
Ordinary analgesics like aspirin, ibuprofen, paracetamol (acetaminophen) can help with the headaches if fluids don’t do the trick.
In terms of natural things for sleep real melatonin 2-6mg 1 hour before bed can help. Sunshine and daylight suppress melatonin so when it gets dark the levels rise and you get sleepy. Note that homoeopathic melatonin is unlikely to help as it just contains water so if you are going to use it get the real stuff. You can also use any of the routine sleeping tablets while on HCV medication.
Here is a blog post of mine on insomnia and how to treat it: https://fixhepc.com/blog/item/82-how-do-i-fix-my-insomnia.html

Hello SweetJo,
Yes, some of my patients have got pregnant after treatment and had normal children.
Unless you take ribavirin every last molecule of the treatment drugs is gone from your system within 5 months of finishing.
You will find a longer (technical) explanation and discussion from this post of mine 2 years ago that looks at why we know this with certainty.

Hello Sunflower,
You can take Harvoni with our without food. The thing to avoid with it is antacids.
As far a the knife goes (or anything else that gets your blood on it) this could be infectious to both you or somebody else for up to 6 weeks (if they are cut by it). There is, however, no need to throw it out if you
a) Give it a good wash to get the visible blood off (which I presume you have already done)
b) Make up a 1 part bleach to 9 parts water solution then put the knife in this for at least 10 minutes – this will effectively kill any remaining traces of virus

Hello stingray,
Welcome back and thanks for the leap of faith. Yes, you may well have been in the first few with the cojones to take their own health into their own hands.
Glad to hear you’re still clear, and yes, that means it’s stuck.
I hope you enjoy your new Hep C free life. It’s good to get the monkey off your back so you can move on.
We’ve seen quite a bit of that. People arrive here, get treated, get better, and move on. In some ways it’s sad to see them go, but it’s the way it should be.
