Life, I haven’t received my scale yet but the info from Dr Freeman sounds great. The only thing I will do in addition is I have ordered a set of weight for calibrating the scales while weighing the materials. I also purchased a pair of tweezers that are designed for holding the capsules, a small spatula for handling the material and some paper for use when weighing the material – less than 20.00$US for everything. I was thinking to get a capsule machine like Jake wrote in the message below but decided just to do everything by hand – my wife is very patient and kind of likes doing tasks like encapsulating and she has offered to do so. I will not use any excipients as it seems to be an extra (unnecessary) step.
Here are links to the scale and weights I bought. I bought the weights as the scale was not so expensive so I worry a bit about the accuracy.
