    Thanks everybody, thanks Dr.Freeman!

I have already given this tests to 2 doctors, both assuring me that “it’s all not so much outside the range”
I’m sure you have different measures in Australia but here you go:

K-Sedimentation: 18 (less than 15) – probably because some uroinfect (blood in the urine)?
    S-CK: 3,20 (less than 2,41)
    S- Holesterol: 6,20 (4,0-5,2)
    S-LDL Holesterol: 4,1 (2.0 – 3,5)
    Iron: 27 (6,6-26)
    S-CEA: 5,7 (less than 5)

If you have time to comment on that I would appreciate.
And it’s damn hard to get a good GP over here… :/

    thanks
    Hope

    Hi friends!

Thought I could post a bit about my progress.

I’m ending my week 4 and have done my basic blood tests. My liver enzymes are normal – first time in 20 years. Not so happy about some other stuff, a bit too much iron (?), K-Sedimetation high (?), blood in urin (?), S-CK high (??), S-CEA high (??)… getting viral load next week.

    Observations:
Sleeping is disturbed (I rarely sleep through night in one piece) but that don’t bother me that much, I’m used to it.
This week my heart beat is irregular, I feel a lot of palpitations and VES – not a good feeling at all. It happened also before tx.
No headaches (only once in the 1st week)
My anxiety has not really gone away as I hoped for.
I have hot flashes every day :/
Worst hours for me were some 3-4 hours after taking the pills. Lightheadness or some strange feeling. But last days I didn’t feel it that much (anymore?)
Can’t really work a lot behind the computer, I start to be more anxious – no worries there because I’m a freelancer and I can adapt.

So all in all, not that good but not that bad either.

    Will keep you posted :)

Hey Gaj, I’m drinking so much water that I can imagine some frogs already inhabited my body :)

Hello all, updating my status is in order!

It’s day 6 and I got rid of the anxiety episodes (at least for now). Didn’t need Diapazem for last two days and that makes me very happy ’cause the last thing I need is another addiction to kick off.

I was ok for one whole day and now anxiety is replaced by a neverending frustrating headache. Yeeeeey!

So I guess I’ll be the one, unfortunate enough with all the beautifull side affects. Well, only 78 days to go. Heh.

Thanks for all your help here.

BTW watched Dallas Buyers Club yesterday – funny to see this movie while on tx :)

Update: first day of tx went ok with Diazapem. Second one, without Diazapem, wasn’t walk in the park. Extreme anxiety some 5 hours after I took Sof/Dac. Almost a panic attack. Somehow me and my friend who’s staying with me handled it without taking benzos.
Third day: no way to cope without benzos. Even with them it’s hard.

All 3 days were ok sleepingwise and no headache, drank plenty of water.

Is it getting any better after some time? How was first days for you?

And another question, is sesame an cyp3a4 inhibitor also? Searched for it and kinda got lost, can’t really spend much time behind the computer.

Not in a good shape at all :(

Well my question was about the relation of anxiety/panic attacks with coffee consumption (if anyone stopped drinking coffee for example becuase of that)

And if the first days on TX, when some of you reported racing heart/speedy feeling, feels like drinking too much coffee?

Otherwise I’m aware of potencial good sides of drinking coffee for liver – but in my case it’s not gonna be possible anymore I guess :( much like flying and some of other stuff I used to do :( or maybe it will be possible once hepC is gone? We’ll see ;)

    Hi guys/girls, I’m starting on Tuesday :)
Talked to dr.James and it helped a lot. Thank you for the suggestion ;)

I have one question for anybody that also had panic attacks and anxiety issues: did you stop drinking coffee? I stopped it 2 yearsago because it made me go crazy (until then I was drinking it like crazy :cheer: ).

Last time I took diapazem was 2 months ago when I bought a new coffee machine and drank coffe with only 1 percent caffeine in it and it made me half way to hell <img style=ick:' />

So, my question would be this: this buzzy, speedy feeling that some of you talked about, does it compare to drinking lots of cofee? Just so I’m prepaired :)

    thanks for your answers!

Hey guys and girls, a big thank you.
I’m starting the TX on 23.2. – I’ve calculated that regarding my next blood tests at my against-generics hepC DR. wich I have in March, so I’ll start 4 weeks sooner. That way I’ll save a bit on tests wich I will have to pay on my own from then on.
I’ll be most definetly post here how I’m doing…I really wish that after taking the meds, I will get better not worse

all the best to all of you here and around he world!

Hmmmm…I’m searching for 3 months already for someone who would monitor me. Noone would. They don’t even need to hear about the generics, it’s enough that I say I intend to take drugs wich are not prescribed here (Sofosbuvir they give to people who are F3 and higher but with Riba, Daklinza they don’t). I tried to find someone in neighbouring countries also because I come from a small one – nothing. Nada. The only thing I could do is to tell my GP everything and she was quite ok and I took some medical assistance wich I can turn to 24/7. A good thing is also that my best friend is going to stay with me through this and my psychologist is also familiar with this and will give me support. Not much else to do. I knocked on so manny doors already that I have the feeling that everybody knows for my hepc already

Thanks for reminding me about the option to talk with Dr.Freeman! If you have any other ideas I would be very thankful.

Hi guys/girls…thank you very much for the calming replies!

Yesterday I started to read a very good book about worrying – hope it will help. As one of you also mentioned, I worry about worrying. I’m scared about not be able to finish the tx because I would be stressing about every little thing that goes on inside my body, everyx little ache and pain.
I end up on emergency for at least 2 times a year either from racing heart or cramping body wich made me feel like I will die alone in the flat cramped up totally or really low blood pressure…always imagining the worst case scenario. Than when I think about all this in combination with some new drugs that I willl be taking, not to be able to explain the docs on ER that I’m taking something they know nothing about it makes me scared to death. What if I get a really high pulse and they give me something like amiodarone as the only drug that can help me? What if…what if…?

So as I understand some of you used some benzos/calming pills also during tx? And it was ok?

    thanks
    Hope
