I was into all of that as well. But now I m on treatment, I don t take any of those anymore. There s no point doing that. The drug is powerful, just let it do his work…and afterthat …party ayurveda right on!…Maybe….I prefer no longer being occupied with it…Lol…Good luck!!

    Hello
a brief update…last post I was feeling rather anxious anticipating the arrival of the drugs..I was facing the reality of “what if I am slammed by side effects..what if I am sick the whole 12 weeks…etc…but there is only such much anxiety I can bare and now I am calm..just getting on with the day to day.

I thought I would mention this process for anyone who is on the roller coaster of waiting for the drugs to arrive. The elation of empowerment..the fear and uncertainty..then the calm/acceptance. My drugs should arrive in the next few days. I am looking forward to clearing this virus and having energy, enthusiasm and a new lease on life.

Any advertising execs around to design a slick poster for pinning up in hepC clinics? Must appeal to generic-phobic medical staff who are needed to get on side.

    Oops, spoke too soon.

Nausea again yesterday, and an angry red itchy rash on shin, thought it was a sandfly bite at first but it’s grown to about 3″ diameter & turning purple today. A ‘fixed drug eruption’ I guess.

    But this too shall pass.

6 day blood tests showed my ALT and AST have dropped significantly (since last bloods in August). So something is happening. Looking forward to the viral load at 4 weeks.
