Thank you! Dr. James cured my hepc. I see my doc on Thurs. for Covid-19. I’ll see what my doc says if I am positive. Been pretty sick. She remembers Dr. James.
Either way, thank you all.

Hi all!
Thank you, Doc Freeman. For all those who are new, I received my Panovir (generic Epclusa) Christmas 2016 thru fixhepC. I am free of the virus to this day. As time goes by I feel better and better. It has been a fantastic ride with all the people here. And, Doc Freeman, I will drop by more often and post. Thank you, again and again!!!!!!
Hi Doc James!
Thank you again for everything and a new life. The first day of my treatment began on Dec. 22, 2016. I remember Jan in the office emailing me saying, I would probably receive my meds before Christmas. So, you became my Santa Clause, and Jan was Elf in charge.
My first labs were on 3/24/17 and I was undetected. I remain undetected. All the extra-hepatic manifestations have resolved and if I avoid mirrors, I feel like I’m back in my rockin’ and rollin’ hippy days.
I literally owe my new life to YOU and everyone here in our elite community for the support I received. My doctor always says how wonderful it is that I am hep free. She has great respect for you.
You remain a hero in my eyes.
Lily
Congrats…and it just keeps getting better and better!
Thank you to all.
Welcome Glen,
You are exactly where you are supposed to be – right here, right now. I identify with your story in many ways. “B positive” is an attitude. I am not speaking of Hep B or blood type. I will guess you know the origin of the following quote: “…acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation – unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.”
For me, finding fixHepC was akin to finding the Holy Grail.
Turn off the tube, keep a daily journal, have your friends over for a “pick- n- grin” (that’s what we call our Sunday music gatherings) and keep coming back. We are here and we all have a tremendous amount of gratitude to Dr. James.

Hi,
I recently had my yearly Dr. visit with lab work completed. Finished 12 weeks Panovir (Epclusa) and cured over a year ago. (Thank you, Doc. Freeman!!!) All labs have been normal. However, my labs last month showed a blood glucose level of 107. I never had diabetes nor does it run in my family. I will be retested in Jan. 2019. I eat a healthy diet and am slim. I will exercise more. I bought Berberine and thought I’d give it a try. I was surprised. My Dr. did not make a big deal about it, but was so happy she gave me a big hug saying you don’t have HepC anymore.
LilyHi Nitro,
Yes, clear as can be! I am not scared it will show up again. I don’t know about you, but I had many extra-hepatic manifestations, that I didn’t even know were a result of the hep c. As time went on and they were clearing, and my head was clearing, and read the odds of svr 12 like it was a racing form, no I am not worried one iota. Live each day to the fullest!!!
Re: Ins. – I have medicare part A & B – I pay for that, but have no Rx coverage.
Now, when you are ready to raise hell, let me know.
Good video – Thank you.
Take good care!
And, just to keep your juices flowing, here is a news story from:

With Trump’s HHS pick Big Pharma takes over our health system
By Justin Mendoza — 11/14/17 01:40 PM EST
His pick? Alex Azar, the former U.S. president of drug giant Eli Lilly and Co. This would put the pharma industry in charge of regulating its own exorbitant prices and it seems likely that his private interests would swamp aspirations towards public service…

Thank you Dr. James,
Yes, we were worried about this last year. Now, with a new administration, I’m being kind in my choice of words, it is even more important that people in the U.S. needing treatment, saddle up their ponies and ride!
Are ya’ all listening, U.S. hepC sufferers? This works. If I can be of help, give a holler.
Thank you, again Dr. J.
This is surly a new wrinkle. I received Panovir (generic Epclusa) a year ago and had no problems. Were all the protocols followed?
I am going to see what I can find out.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
With gratitude to our entire community.
Thank you!
Hi Nitro,
Welcome. Last year about this time, I received my meds thru fixhepc. I am cured. I was mad as hell also with our system. I spoke with doctors, Gilead, posted negative reviews, and on and on. As I started feeling better, and weeks then months went by, I realized that I had landed in OZ. For $1600 bucks, I had the best, the best of the best, doctor in the world. I had the best “front desk” (Jan) in the world. I had immediate questions answered by either Jan or Doc Freeman and when I just needed to hangout, I had the best support group in the world…The Forum. Now, looking back, even if I got medical coverage, I don’t think I would take it, if I new then what I know and feel now.
So, Nitro, you will feel better and blessed. Just follow the yellow brick road.
Now, on a side note, since I know Doc Freeman is a Monty Python fan, I’ll assume “Fawlty Towers” is up there also. I was thinking about working on late night comedy draft called “Fawlty (Trump) Towers”.
I love the “SVR12 Club”!!!
Congratulations
16 August 2017 at 6:01 pm in reply to: HCV virus can now be defeated, yet how do we defeat HCV stigma? #26771Hi Gaj,
I am sorry, “silence” was not my intent. Perhaps it is the Vermont state of mind, but I don’t give a rat’s a** what others think, as long as I am right with myself and those close to me. There is an old saying, “I come from Vermont and do what I want.” I do speak out and am carrying the message. I also believe that information is on a need to know basis.
Again, I thank you for all your sage advice. I sought out your posts from the inception of my journey as a “fixhepcer”. You truly are a rock – one of the things I miss most about Vermont.
Congrats again on your svr12!
