Hi Tina, My ‘womanly cycle ‘ left the building some years ago. Early. I have read this could be attributed to having virus and I do think it would help to offer these details up to the powers that be, IF they’re interested (!) However, in my experience, most if my Drs are not interested in symptoms, my last one announcing haughtily – ‘We are only interested in the liver’ . Hoping my new fantastic female consultant may show an interest, I will try to remember to ask her / offer her this info. Of course the HepC virus could affect women in a different way to men – we have different bits! – and as a blood born virus which gets everywhere, like the meds – It makes total sense, to me anyway.
Another lady who has done tx and cleared, warned me of hormonal changes before I started saying tx was rather ‘intense’ – So some of us are picking up on this for sure.
Meanwhile, last night I woke up at 2.30 am in a hot sweat and threw all my clothes off – that’s with ‘no hormones’ to speak of. First time it’s happened since starting treatment. Those in UK & Aus are experiencing extreme weather ie hot and cold, so this may contribute also?
Well done for posting .(edit) ps I have also suffered multi-miscarriage in the past & baby born early. Have also read the virus can cause this.
Who knows, maybe these sx are ‘putting hormonal balance back on track ‘ – Now that would be good
Even if your GP is not playing ball, I would print-out Dr F’s ‘GP Cheat Sheet’ and pop it in an envelope.
Not knowing much about it, is not an excuse for refusing ‘Duty of care’ – Can you get another GP?

I know how depressing it can be when medical professionals let you down & don’t seem to care, I have had a ton if it and when I have the time, will document it on here.
I got there in the end, finding a GP & a new supportive consultant, Don’t give up !
Hey, I have also been emotionally sensitive. Can’t deal with anything sad or bad on the news, films with upsetting scenes etc or bad drivers on the motorway ! Thinking I have forced myself by way of mental survival for so long, stayng strong for myself & my responsibilty to others & treatment has let down some barriers. I have also experienced much pain over ill loved ones, including the passing of one, My advise? Let those tears flow, it could be part of your healing and letting out all that stress and tension.
Sometimes, I wish we were all closer and could pop round to support each other with a cup of tea.

(edit2) Sorry Chejai, I blame it on the brain-fog – I did upload medical hisory in tools, but not full blood test results. There is room to add a few bloods that are out of sorts there though.
I must have emailed Dr F the full kaboodle & forgotten that I did that

Rather confusing to say the least, my opinion for what it’s worth, is I do rather like Dr F’s post,
maybe a copy of which should be pinned at the head of ‘Pharmas Market’? Just a suggestion,
please feel free to agree/ignore accordingly gentlemenLove the good vibes on this site & considering any people I may point in this direction in the future with a promise of ‘supply chain integrity’ – some may well be Drs from the UK considering whether to assist others in monitoring eg as well as patients with this untreated condition. Just a thought …

to youAriel, do you have GP nearby to check your BP every now & then? I ask GP/nurse to take mine every time I see either if them.
Have tried taking my own at the surgery, but it’s always v high that way, but ok wit nurse, so have decided it’s the wrong size for little ol’ me.Hope this passes for you soon
