Having said that, I couldn’t help but notice one of our moderators has visited this topic and he’s a pit bull when it comes to researching and finding answers. In any case, I doubt you’ll wait long to get some help answering your quesquestions and support to go along with it.

I’ll try to talk my Dr. Into it, more tests that is.. I’m just happy he wrote the script for generics … and is willing to monitor the outcome, even if it’s not what I would want as a, Standard Operating Procedure. SOP

Great post with great news, my friend. I’m only half the race behind you and headed for the last laps. Can’t wait to see that checkered flag. Then the really fun part. Joining all of you who started the race ahead of me, in the winners circle where you get to welcome the next finishers. That’s where the real party is and I know you’ll be there GT2. Looking forward to seeing you when I get there along with surfer girls and mermaids from OZ, one of them who has it down pat1, London ladies, guys with names like fitz and Sven. Dairy products like cheese, those Irishman, west coast girls, east coast guys. Guys named Guy. Man who speaks in shoe. Fighters against greed, fighters against HCV, a man named Kevin, and of course a sweet Spanish speaking girl with flowers in her hair, who offers everyone she meets a prayerful smile. The list goes on …. unfortunately, I can’t. You know who you are!

Well friends, it’s July 4th weekend here in the US which means little to the rest of the world, but is one more excuse for people in this country to “party” and blow stuff up.
Calm down fitz! I’m just pokin’ a little fun
Fireworks, when done by professionals and far away from my house, are a spectacular sight. It’s the ones where unprofessionals lose fingers and eyes, start fires and scare the p_ _ _ out my animals, (literally) that I wouldn’t miss. oh well it only lasts a couple of days.
It’s the day after the 4th I’m looking forward to. I meet with my specialist for the 1st time since he wrote my prescription to Fixhepc and since getting my 1st labs done. I can’t wait to hear what he says about them and the use of generics to achieve those fantastic results. I’ll ask him if he’d be willing to order labs sooner than EOT so I can see if there’s been further improvement. Originally my family practitioner said he’d order whatever labs were necessary, but has since deferred to my specialist, who informed me 4 & 12wks after EOT was SOP for him and that’s what he has planned. I’m going to appeal to his sense of medical curiosity and ask for one more ASAP, since my last one was at 3wks after SOT and when I see him it’ll be almost 7wks in. So, send a few positive vibes toward the Pacific NW that day … Hey! Who knows? Right? I’ll post here how things turn out.Cheers to ALL

Just last night we saw these guys in the same, small, indoor venue as last year, when their outdoor concert was called on account of rain. Ha! Rain? In Oregon? Go figure. They were great last year and have only gotten better since … Hope you all enjoy as much as we did.

Well JF, looks like the votes are in and the tally points toward you going to Spain.
I personally think LondonGirl cast the deciding vote. She’s wiser than her years ya know.
She’s from the same area as you and makes some excellent suggestions to help alleviate some of your stress and fears over going after having started tx. You could also PM Dr. Freeman to see what he might have to say. He has a lot of experience I’m sure.
Either way, as beaches encourages, just go and enjoy yourself. Don’t be like this guy … … and I’m not talking about the doctor.

I’m happy to hear you’re already into day 6 with continuing, “smooth sailing”
My VL was at 13000000 and AST/ALT astronomical at, 162 & 241 respectively. At 3 weeks into tx, my VL was 138, that’s not million, it was, one hundred thirty eight! My AST/ALT had dropped to, 27/31 respectively.
That was getting awfully close to UND at only 3 weeks. I’m just over six now and feeling really good.
As others pointed out to me back at 3 weeks, “The way it’s going, in another week you should reach undetected.” I don’t know for sure that I have, because my doc wants to wait to EOT to initiate more labs, but I certainly feel like I could have.

That was awesome Mike … and yet, a bit sad, when you think about the lack of knowledge out there concerning generics.
All the same, the message is growing and even if only a relative few are taking advantage of this marvelous opportunity … well that’s a few more lives saved. We have this site and advocates like yourself to thank for that. I feel for the degree of discouragement that happens to those like yourself in the scholastic world. I applaud you for your steadfast determination to help those who want it, while at the same time not abandoning those who don’t value it as they should. I was one of those who didn’t while still young and foolish … as they say, “Hindsight is always 20-20” and “If I only knew then what I know now”.
Mike, my friend, it’s good to acknowledge failure, but doubly good to recognize success. Take it where you can brother. You have plenty of it here.
