I’m a nothern hemi!! I got one a month before tx, but, at that time, I had no idea I WOULD be treating. Turns out, not one case of flu was reported at my school of 2400 teens who would think nothing of sharing a tootsie pop with the rest of the class. I go through a quart of Germex a month.,
At any rate, UNDETECTED!!!

Someone got a prescription written for generics.based on an article printed from the Internet. We have a long way to go, but look how far we’ve come!
7 months ago, I sent $2000 to a stranger in China, based on the advice of some stranger strangers in Tasmania.
Now, it seems so “easy”.
That’s why I am smiling!
The US doctors & patients are frustrated by these high prices and insurance denials. The patients are also mad as hell if they are anything like me.
You can’t sell something to somebody if they don’t know about it.
The doctors, or the APNs who handle most HCV cases in the U.S., need to be educated. Do they have an annual convention? A place where a few of us could go and get their attention.
Every profession has to “convene” once in a while.
The professional journals and publications could be another way to get the information where it needs to go. We have been carpet bombing. Maybe we need to snipe for a while.
The doctors are the keys.

We had a spate of new members posting senseless stuff and with profiles containing a large portion of the words in the English language-probably to get search results. Cosmetics, jewelry, hypno therapy, penis enlargement cream, toenail fungus tx-you name it. One had some “overstock” Herme’s handbags for $34.78 plus s & h. Probably last year’s stuff, but the one with the zebra look was hard to resist. I got the Rolex instead.
Maybe we need a home shopping thread….

7/07/16 UND SVR 24Yes, the “supply chain” is key. Take Mesochem, for example: Send Rachel the money. Rachel signs the package over to FedEx. FedEx puts it in your hands. Simple.
But, if Rachel had a courier deliver the package to FedEX, then some questions about “supply chain” integrity could be raised. The same applies to all vendors.

They (Gilead) will keep the price high in the U.S. because the insurance companies are having to cover the cost to avoid lawsuits over denial of treatment claims. The high cost of insurance coverage for these and other specialty drugs will be passed along to all the members of the insurance plan. The government (state and federal) will recoup their money through higher taxes. Gilead gets the money and avoids paying its fair share of taxes by being based offshore.
