    Welp, got the package. I thought I’d have time to do a baseline draw for VL AST ALT. But, I had them done this summer so…now that I’m holding these in my hand, I just want to get started. I’ll find out what the Fibrosure score is Monday. Plus I got an US Thursday for what it’s worth. Anyway, the war is on.

    I would be troubled by the big number too. But, I’d also think yeah, that’s why I cut through the bullshit to get the job done. In three weeks we’ll probably hafta a give you a trophy for killing off more than 40 million of those f*<£ers.

    Thanks guys. Nice to come home to these posts. I m curious…does anyone know if it comes USPS, or some other way? I’ve been unable to track the package so far even tho there is a tracking #.

    So I just got home from work and see your post. Thank you so much! I’m pretty wound up trying to get through. I tried emailing Kingswood. The feedback I’m getting from fixhepc’s Melissa is that my only option Is Redemption. I am going to try the call. But I understand maybe Dr Freeman has to call as a liaison. Maybe I’m wrong. I’m not in direct comms with the Dr.

    I’m in the US with approximately the same situation as Splitdog. Tonight I emailed fixhepc to ask if I could follow suit. But the person who wrote back said I would have to go through the redemption 2 trial. I’m wondering why I can’t do exactly what you guys did. My doc will write the scrip & I just want to buy the stuff through Kingwood. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Hey Splitdog,
    I’m considering the same route…saw a dr today who says he has not seen any of his patients with insurance get approved for sof/Dac. Even on appeal. He said he’d support me (with lab orders & a script) if I got the meds some other way. He also asked what my Rush was given the long wait so far. He said there are more new meds in the pipeline. But, I’m thinking of pulling the trigger as soon as I get the Fibrosure results. Really want to get this done. Thanks for sharing your story.

    Well, I hesitate to go thru monkmed because I don’t know what the extra costs would be. I’m hoping a GI will prescribe, appt. paid by insurance. I’m set to pay for meds or the trial but don’t want to incur diagnostic costs. I want to ask the GI if he/she will order the labs regardless of where I get meds. Just to clarify my situation, I have insurance but do not want to wade through months of denials for the scrip if I don’t have to.

    Once I have a subscription for Sof/Dac, what would be more straightforward & timely; trying for the R2 trial or using buyers club to obtain the meds?
