    Archer, I agree with your every word and feel the sadness of knowing that others have not survived the ramifications of this insidious virus and even now are still struggling. It was wonderful to read that you are now UND. For me, It was a strange feeling to learn of a similar result for myself and I am still to absorb the implications fully. Surely now is a time of hope for all.

    Hi Deb, my blood pressure reading has changed even though my original medication is the same so will be off to the GP to discuss this further in a couple of days. My last reading was 150/100. I hope you blood pressure evens out soon for you. On the plus side and thanks to your posts I am experimenting with different hair treatments and feel much better about that.

    This is interesting.
    I have had Multiple Biochem Analysis tests in 2014 and 2015.
    Specimen: Serum
    My Clinical Notes state impaired sugar with my GP saying that I had a pre diabetic condition, something I have been trying to ignore until now. My 8 wk bloods are due soon and so I am wondering if I should include another sugar test request. I truly just want everything to just go away (hepc going I do believe) a completely self indulgent thought I know.

    Yours is a gracious response and I am really glad that you did take the time to reply. I admire your determination and spirit. It was pleasing to read that your symptoms had abated somewhat. You asked the question ‘.But how well informed are the public…’ This is still a hidden disease and when I told my sisters recently that I had hepc they were completely unaware of the ramifications. Despite being told to wait for new medications over the years and with the announcement of the recent PBS listing I even now would not change my game plan. The Buyers Club has transformed mine and many lives.

    Chejai, yes some days can be exhausting. I think that we have to do whatever we can to make ourselves comfortable and rest up whenever we have an opportunity. I find it helps to drink lots of water and for me headaches and joint pain seem to come and go. I hope you have a better day tomorrow. X #flower #flower

    I take sof/dac in the morning about 6am, it is high summer in in Aus and the sun rises at 5.45am in Victoria. I have an early start to the day generally after only a few hours sleep. Pre Tx I would sleep for 10-12 hours nightly. I am taking Irbesartan for high blood pressure which according to the drug interaction chart comes up coded green with no interaction expected & this was confirmed by Doc James. I have begun to delay taking this med till bout 9am. Like you I am concerned about my blood pressure as something feels different now & I will have it checked on Thursday when I meet my new specialist for the first time. I am day 38. A all the best X

    For me Sir, I can’t say that felt euphoria however for the first 2 weeks of treatment at exactly 2 hours past ingesting the meds I would experience a kind of headiness and a dulling of senses and thought processes. more a depressive heaviness rather than a kind of speediness. cheers
