    Beaches yes a very relaxed post highlighted by the inclusion of a humpback whale with someone in the water very close to that huge creature #love #duck

    In the weeks following EOT things will change as the meds leave your body. It took my body 9 to 10 weeks and a short break from work to stabilise. Looking back I realise I should have taken a week or 2 off straight after. I recommend this – do something that makes you happy, rest and take it all in. I’m aware it’s not always possible but at least do small things that make you happy. #flower

    Good advice, I agree it does take time to to readjust to a life free from HCV. For me it was also 8-10 weeks of readjustment as you said and so it’s good to know what to expect after meds are withdrawn.

    That is wonderful news for genotypes 4 and 6 including G1’s but it seems so very unfair for those with G3. Where is the dislike tab?

    Hi FHCN
    I think I kinda have a sense of where you are coming from. I completely relate to the added and maybe invisible stress that goes along with any kind of prolonged Tx. Added to this I read that you have the additional complexities of work and belonging. For me at 8 week into Tx there was a sense of heightened tension and anxiety which forced me a leave of absence from work for a time. I think that the only supportive suggestion that I can make is to take things one step at a time. Try not to worry and focus on your health now that you have taken up this amazing opportunity to get well. From my experience I have noticed that things can be a little muddled from time to time however I also can say that the future will be much better without hepc. Decision making will become easier and you will have the strength to follow up. Xx #flower

    I plan to do the same as you, hopefully there will good results for me as well. :+1: After struggling for many years with HCV and then undergoing Tx to UND it will be very interesting to note changes along the way. I am hoping to have a fibroscan and ultrasound request along with a path request for PCR SVR24 at my new clinic :+1:

    “Gawd it’s been a marathon yeah! ” – We don’t need to run a new marathon and add high stress and career problems to the diet ! Recovery from the whole trip is quite mentally exhausting remembering it was all very new when the first wonder-meds came along. It seems so long ago, but really, it’s less than a year -! Amazing how far we’ve come and how many people this forum is now helping
