If I understand correctly, genotype 1a, if it does not take ribavirin, there is no difference in quality between 12 and 24 weeks.
Is it the same for genotype 1b?
I bought twinvir for 24 weeks of therapy, ribavirin for me is now unavailable.
I do not know whether we subtype a or b. It was never established, and given that I have already begun treatment question is whether it is possible to determine.
Is it possible on the basis of the PCR test after 2 weeks and 12 weeks take a decision on the length of therapy? Or take TVINVIR 24 weeks and that’s it?
What is your opinion?

Can anyone describe to me what he has done fibroskan.
In Belgrade, (where my score was 16.3 kPa), the doctor asked me to transfer my right leg over left leg, raise your right hand above his head and throw rib part the best I can. At any moment, when he worked with FibroScan, sought to keep my air and not breathing.

In Sofia, the doctor told me to just lie down comfortably, move right hand , and relax. I did not have that ejects rib part to him, to cease to breathe or anything else. The result was 10.2 kPa.
I mentioned when I made the first examination (in Belgrade), I had a virus, and I was completely hoarse, I could hardly talk. (I do not know whether it could affect the result FibroScan)

The fourth day of therapy:
Greater fatigue in the afternoon (it happened before, without TWINVIR, in fact nothing new is happening)
Slight fog of peripheral vision in the first few hours after taking the drug decreases.
No big deal, for now …

I am also took meds Twinvir from Mahbubul Hasan Leon after email and viber conversation . I traveled from Serbia in Dhaka, went directly to the offices of Inceptа , and everything went smoothly

New fibroscan is done. Now results are:
10.2kPa siccess rate 100%
IQR 0.3 (I don’t know what is IQR)
IQR/med 3%
Doctor of Tokuda Hospital Sofia said that this fibrosis 3-4
He advised me to do a blood test and see which ones is my subtype (1a or 1b).
He said that it is wise to take( with TWINVIR) Ribavirin in the event that the 1a.
Does anyone have a comment …

The second day of therapy:
Side effects are almost inexistent.
Mild fatigue that I had before taking the drug.
Mild fog of peripheral vision in the first few hours after taking the drug.
Hopefully it will be in the future .
And yes, I scheduled a new FibroScan, this time in Sofia, Bulgaria. I’m going tomorrow to review ….

I doubt it, (my doctor too), the veracity of the results FibroScan. Biopsy of a year ago, gave the result F1. Blood tests we have not changed much in a year, so that no one is clear that last FibroScan result. I plan to repeat FibroScan to determine the duration of therapy.

this is encouraging.
I am planning to repeat FibroScan. I’ll try during the first 12 weeks of treatment, and will decide on the further course of treatment (certainly I bought tnjinvir for 24 weeks).
The problem is that in Serbia FibroScan there is only one place where I do it.
I’ll try to find it in Bulgaria, I hope they have it, and that it is available to foreigners …

I was actually terrified …
12 months ago, we established biopsy are fibrosis 1 degree.
6 months, PCR, genotype 1, VL 30 million.
After a year, FibroScan 16.3 kPa. They told me that I have cirrhosis ?!
ALT AST GGT slightly increased to 60, a single parameter is not pointed to cirrhosis.
For the PCR test that we developed for the participation in testing a new drug VL 3.3 million IU ?! Ten times less than 6 months, without treatment. (they rejected me to participate in the study because FibroScan results)
I do not know what that is true ….
I do not know whether to take the medicine for 12 or 24 weeks…
