If you opened the artical, under the heading is a large picture of Cipla. I added that I enrolled in treatment with fixhepc and successfully imported my Panovir.
I have been following fixhepc for almost a year, jumping thru hoops with doctors and Gilead only to be denied. I found great support here and with doctor Freeman.
I apologize and will not post again nor will I log in after this.
So to the forum I say thank you, and am sorry I created an unintentional kerfluffal.
Thank you for your support Vororo and Gaj.

responded to your post and you should be able to make intelligent decisions about posting
again.Hope you post again. Personally, I like your style. Keep on doing what you are doing.

But, it doesn’t belong here.

One cannot trust any news from Gilead. Granted, their profits are being curtailed, but they can still
compete w/ the other major players in the HCV field even w/ a price drop.Something else is going on that we are not privy to. R & D, even on a limited basis, is probably still
going on, IMO.Maybe they are on to some major R&D cancer cure or world peace.

SVR24After week 8 of treatment, I had the complete hepatitis panel done…..
A, B, C. They were all negative and/or non-reactive. In addition, even
though my HCV was undetected, it was reactive. This means that
antibodies were found that indicated that HCV was present at some
point in time. As I understand it….this is why we heppers cannot
donate blood even after successful tx unless protocols have changed.Anyhow, never finished final Hep A/B vaccination. Didn’t really care.
Personally, I believe the stuffed up GI Dr wanted to cover his arse
before HCV tx. Ironically, I see him tomorrow. Again, I will wave my
results under his nose and tell him generics indeed work…SVR12.

SVR24Excellent reminder, Doc.
I have been a private and confident individual all my life
since I left home to go to college 45 years ago. Won’t go
into the details, but people should be wary of the unknown
especially now. Before, no problem, but now with the
Interwebs, one has to be very careful with personal info.Doc, how about doing this as a sticky for the newbies and
uninformed?

Probably, I had my 4 week EOT labs today. Still work full time and started to get tired as usual
in early afternoon……. pre and post HCV meds intake status and got a little apprehensive. How we deal with stress is an individual decision. There are many articles and opinions on the
subject. What will happen will happen. One is in charge of one’s health. IMO, someone
else or a nonexistent higher power is not the answer. You and you alone are in charge on what
happens. If things turn south, sleep on it overnight, gather your thoughts and be rational with any future
decisions that are made.Coral….as others have said the odds of conquering this is way in your favor.

SVR24Been a vegetarian, not a vegan, for 40 years…..fish 2/3 times a week. Never have taken any
supplements or vitamins until dx with HCV in 2007. Started to take milk thistle. Ran
into chlorcyclizine a few years later. Can’t tell if they helped, but maybe they
impeded/retarded the virus.Bottom line is…. a well balanced diet helps the body regardless what ails it. Didn’t need
B12 with a balanced diet.IMO, people should change their dietary lifestyle regardless if they have HCV or not.
H2O, sleep, little or no sugar, little or no alcohol, etc should be a life long endeavor….
not just when you are on HCV meds.
