Only just seen this Archer as I haven’t been as active as I used to be on these forums. Not sure if events just conspire against you, but somehow or other you always seem to be left ‘snookered’. Tea & sympathy ain’t gonna be of any use at this stage of the game, but you’re still not exactly getting any good cards are you.
No experience of HCC so I’m unable to offer any real input on this, but wise words there from SC who has obviously been there, done it, and is now living proof of how things can be turned around. As Jeff has already said it’s important to make sure you keep both hands on the wheel, as it’s your bus that’s being driven here. It does sound like you’ve got things moving though, just watch out for snags and try to maintain at least some kind of momentum.
Having said that ………. ! It must be a bloody worry Archer to now have that particularly nasty complication on your plate. Support has and should always be a big word in the forum scene, and I just wanted to chime in and offer mine …… to a very dear old friend.
Many thanks for that Gaj. I used to be quite active on several forums in the past, but my cognitive powers ain’t what they used to be. Sure I”ll get the hang of it again eventually, and hope to participate a bit more around here when I do.
That was supposed to be a PM to Archer, but it seems I’m struggling operating on this forum. Also wondering if Paul is an old Nomad refugee like myself. Weather he is or isn’t, the ‘R’ word is a lousy outcome to have to grapple with.
Just read your profile Mike and can now answer my own question, looks like you finished about 9 days after me. Although your cocktail was different to mine, I’m guessing that the salient point that could explain my ongoing fatigue & insomnia is that I’ve been oscillating between F3 and F4 for over a decade, so hopefully I just need to give it more time. Your upbeat reflections are encouraging though Mike
When did you finish Mike ? I finished 12 wks of Sov / Dak on the 5th of January, and EOT blood work indicate that the predicted rosey ‘surrogate outcome’ has been achieved – LFT’s still in the normal range & no detectable virus, as was the case after 4 wks of treatment – but the extreme fatigue & insomnia have NOT gone away ….. yet. Quite disappointed that I don’t feel better by now, and hoping that it’s just a matter of more time & more patience, but I desperately need to get back in the workforce and make some money before I go under. Still can’t walk more than
