    Hey all,
i haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been working my way towards the end of my 24 week treatment and just last week had my 20 week check in with my doctor. All is well; my labs and all blood levels are good, and I still remain UND! I’ve been lucky that I haven’t had many problems with the riba. Treatment this time around has been fairly easy with the lack of side effects. I have 3 weeks tx to go, then will try to remain patient while I wait to hear that I’ve made 12 weeks SVR. Fingers are crossed already. I thank every one here on this site most every time I post. I am very grateful to have found this site and all the kind and helpful people here. It is because of Fix Hep C, the followers, and Dr Freeman that I even knew where to go for my treatment. For anyone reading this who is “on the fence”. You’ve come to the right place. Get your meds here and get yourself treated! Sending good thoughts from the US.

    Hi Seekingcure, and fellow 2A’er.
I am a relapser and discovered FixhepC while looking online and praying for a miracle way that I could get the meds I needed for retreatment. Folks on this site posted info to answer all my questions and showed me that affordable generic meds are available. My much prayed for miracle became a reality! I got my meds from China and had no problems whatsoever. I did not need a prescription though I finally got one from my GP doctor who agreed to monitor my treatment. Please please please trust that you came to the right place and read everything you can on this site. All the information you need to get your meds is here. Along with wonderful support and encouragement. I’ll end by saying that I am 16 weeks into 24 weeks tx, and I was “undetected” from 2 weeks on. These drugs work and they are easy to access in the US. I ordered on a Friday and had them within a week. Also had to contact Rachel again for a second shipment, since I short changed myself on my daclatisver the first time around. All told, 24 weeks Sofosbuvir and daclatisver cost about $1800. I think people were getting it cheaper than that but I wasn’t about to question the price, just get it to me without any customs hassles please! I hope you decide to do this. I wish you good luck and good health!!

    Hi all,
2A here again. I’ve been on treatment for 4 weeks now. Just had my appt with my GP on Friday and am tickeled to say that with a 10,600,000 VL to start, I am now UND! Whoop whoop! Staying positive and chasing away any thoughts of possible relapse; I have 5 more months to go yet, with a much stronger cocktail this time; Sof/Riba with added Daclatisver.
I have to say again to anyone in the US who is hesitating to go this route with generics. I got mine from Mesochem. It was incredibly easy to get them ordered, and they arrived in about 10 days. I got all the information I needed regarding compounding from the good people here on the Fix Hep C website. These lifesaving drugs are affordable. They are working. Please take care of yourself and DO THIS NOW!! and stay in touch with everyone here. There are true warriors here, and every one of them will gladly offer what they’ve learned and a kind word.
I’ll drop in with updates as I get them. Sending out continued prayers for good health and UND’s for us all.

Thanks GT2!! I’ll take all those good vibes you’re sending and return some to you as well!!! I hadn’t thought about the double SS for slaying “the stubborn little shit” disease, but perhaps I should make it so. Or simpler yet; Shit Slayer, lol!!

    Thanks Hazel!!
Yes, it’s quite a cocktail we’ve all mixed up for ourselves, huh??!! It still amazes me that us lay-folk can do for ourselves what the medical community and major drug manufacturers can’t. When I do the math and see what the street value of these drugs are compared to what I paid for them, it’s just obscene! Best of luck to you as well!!

Uh oh…coffee is one I hadn’t heard of. I drink about 3 to 4 large mugs a day. Is that a no-no as well?

Thanks for the info on fruits to avoid with /Dac. Have looked further online but see nothing regarding other citrus fruits. Has anyone heard of any reactions between Dac and fresh lemons or limes?? Blueberries or other berries? Thx!

    Hi Mike,
    Great to hear from you!
I haven’t tried GP2U as of yet, but just might need to. Torpac will ship within the next 2 days, then get my scale and start doin it. Did your PCP know exactly which tests to order, or did you tell them which ones you wanted. Other than viral load, I wouldn’t know which to ask for. I’m getting very close to blasting this virus to smithereens now. Can’t wait. Glad to read too, that all is going smoothly for you; praying for SVR for us all!

    Hi 2b,
I have my meds Sof/Dac (24 weeks worth) from Mesochem. Waiting for my funnel from Torpac which should be here shortly. Am anxious/excited, and ready to build pills and start treatment. Just got snubbed by my “new” Gastro doc, who chuckled and made a snide comment about poison dog food from China when I asked him to supervise my labs during treatment. So I have made an appt with another heptologist, and also an appt with a GP in December. Have
also written a letter to another doc who told me last year that she lost her husband to this disease. I have jumped off the fence, have meds in hand, and can’t find a damn doctor one who will take me seriously and monitor my labs during treatment. I want to do this, but am fairly scared to do this on my own. I’m not as worried about testing the meds; I’m fairly confident they are the real deal, just based on what I’ve read on this site about Mesochem and testing done by Dr Freeman. Hoping I can find a progressive thinking doctor very soon!!

Thanks for the info here…I’m still trying to decide if I want to add Riba to my treatment. As a 2a who relapsed after Sof/Riba, I’ve not found any trials or studies for my Genotype showing that adding Riba to a 24 week tx of Sof/Dac is or isn’t beneficial. I did read and wondered about one study that showed adding Riba to a G3 tx regime was actually not as effective as skipping it. Hmmmm….
